“ A Lovely Hotel, staff couldn't be more pleasant and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Food very good and a big selection. The hotel has its own private beach right outside the hotel itself with well plenty of space, the sunbeds are easily movable and you are not sat on top of the person next to you, unlike other hotel beaches on the stretch!

This was our second visit to the Fayrouz with our 4 young children who love it. A trip out on the Sina Dream boat trip is well worth the money, we saw lots of dolphins and my husband and eldest son of 8 really loved the snorkeling at Tiran Island.

If you want to get out and about then use the local buses (blue minibuses) you just flag them down along the main road and it costs just 1LE per person, its an experience if anything else and the locals are so friendly.

Another fab holiday, looking forward to booking for next January.

“ January 2012 melted away winter blues avreage temp 24 degrees c staff so friendly and helpful, the nicest location in Namma Bay with the longest stretch of beach. There are four swimming pools also, one cold as ice and three heated, poolbars at two of these and bars on the beach also all serving drinks and snacks, meals. Room was poolside and a great size, very comfortable and well looked after by our room boy Ahmed.

“ Top Tip: Try the 50 Pub along the corniche to the right oppoite viva beach, great staff and very friendly they are also doing all inclusive, ie all drinks all night for LE 120, very worth it if you can drink a few beers. For a nice light snack or something try the Camel Dive Club on the main drag next to Pascha. For coffees try the Egyptian brand of coffee shops Cillantro next to Starbuck on the main drag and also one opposite the Hilton Fayrouz Italian restaurant El Fresco. For Bottles of water you can get at the kiosk turn left long corniche and go past Novotel and Marriott onlt 4 LE compared to 20-25 LE elsewhere. For T-shirts you should go the T-shirt shop at the junction of King street where you can get top quality Egyptian cotton t-shirts all designs for 45 LE and no hassle, much better than the old market or the one entrance next to McDonalds.

“ I travel to Sharm around 4 times a year to visit friends and have stayed in many hotels in the Naama Bay area. This was the second time I have stayed at the Hilton Fayrouz and is definitely one of the best. Beautiful grounds that are kept superbly and the pool area was also clean. The rooms were spotlessly cleaned on a daily basis and always a new design with the towels and beds sprinkled with flower petals. The hotel is quiet (apart from the odd plane overhead but you can't avoid that as the planes fly so low over all the hotels in the area).

We were only here on a B&B basis and there was a wide choice at breakfast (I love their scrambled eggs!).

The hotel beach is literally 2 minutes away and is clean and quiet. The sun beds were so comfortable they are more like real beds! Lovely big clean towels every day.

The only reason I didn't give the hotel 10/10 was that when checking out, they tried to charge me nearly 70LE for 1 drink & 1 chocolate bar from the rooms mini bar (should have come to 23LE). When I queried this, they told me it was tax! I didn't agree and after some persuasion, they re-printed my invoice which then came to 25LE. It was a shame to end such a fantastic stay on a slightly negative note but it certainly wouldn't put me off staying here again.

Overall, an excellent hotel in a great location.

“ Top Tip: I would recommend a lovely restaurant called Moonlight on the beachfront. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing (and quite cheap!). Another favourite of mine is Fairuz Cafe (leabanese food)...lovely atmosphere and food is fantastic (slightly more pricey than Moonlight). You can't go wrong with a drink in the famous Camel Bar. Cosey, great music/atmosphere...only down side here is the staff aren't very attentive (compared with most places). A good night out for a dance is at Viva Cataract (opposite Camel Bar) and Hard Rock.

“ We have been travelling to Sharm for 4 years now & already knew the Hilton from
previous visits. We chose this hotel as it was nearer the town than our previous hotel. The accomodation was small but very clean & adequate for our needs. Breakfast was not great & we never used the restaurant at night opting for the Pirates Bar instead. We would use the hotel again as it was fine for our needs.

“ Top Tip: Check out the happy hour run into town which starts at the Pirates Bar.
