Hotel was very clean and room was spacious and comfortable. Rooms were made up every day and clean towels supplied. Cleaning staff also left interesting towel sculptures on one of the beds when returned to the room,including a swan, rabbit, flower elephant and turkey!
Staff were very pleasant and pleased to help. Breakfast was quite varied including cereals, pastries, fresh fruit salad, toast and freshly cooked pancakes or omelettes.
Excellent value for money.

Top Tip:
A short taxi ride away or 20 min. walk was a very good private beach El Fanar. It cost 60 EP (Egyptian pounds) each to get in, approx. £6.50, but you did get a bottle of water, a towel and access to a padded sun lounger and thatched sun shade. This also gave jetty access to some brilliant snorkeling on the coral reef.
A 100 yards away was the Il Mercato shopping centre, where restaurants were plentiful. One which did wonderful pasta, pizzas and fish dishes was 'Onions'. Also the Stella Bar was very popular and you are able to order your food from the surrounding restaurants, without moving from your table.

“ Before I booked this hotel I read the mixed reviews. My opinion is that Coral Hills is a very well run, clean, attractive hotel. Of course in a country so different to our own there are bound to be little niggles but the staff were extremely helpful, professional and efficient. Anxious to please and correct any problems. The food was sometimes not to everyone's taste but there was always plenty of choice and something for everyone. The rooms are large and the pool area particulary attractive. It is fantastic value for money.

Second time staying at this hotel, and to be honest the room was much bigger than the first time. We'd thought we did well last time here, but this one exceeded our expectations. The hotel is small compared to others, but the atmosphere is one of family rather than business.
We usually choose B&B on account of the fact that we aren't usually around to take advantage of the All Inclusive offer. Besides which, you're minutes away on foot from Il Mercato with its Pizza Hut, Onions, KFC, McD's amongst others, all reasonably priced.
The restaurant does not have air conditioning (worth noting in my opinion) and you won't fond a huge array of facilities, but what they do have is very nice. The pool has never yet been too crowded, gardens are well tended. Staff are always very friendly, but I've always found that they respond depending on the way they are treated, and I've been shocked at how some Brits behave abroad towards others (Not All...just some !)
We find this hotel the perfect (and cheap) base for our diving holidays in Sharm, and will likely return early next year.

“ This is my second time & it is perfect for my needs. Clean and comfortable but dated rooms, I asked for one at the quiet pool & my room was @ 10 yards from it. Excellent breakfast but this time I went BB as the evening food is not to my taste but the location is next to El Mercato and there are 3 good ones there.

I went on this holiday with my friend Audrey and had mixed feelings. I had heard different opinions on this resort.
For us, the staff were excellent and were always friendly and eager to help, no matter how big or small the task.
The room cleaning staff were brilliant and we couldn't wait to get back to our rooms to see what towel sculpture had been left on our beds that day.
The weather was fantastic and one thing I would say to people is to shop around for excursions. We found that we saved quite a lot by booking them in Naama Bay shopping centre.
Only downside was the hassle we got from shopkeepers but you just have to be firm and say NO THANK YOU!!!

plenty of restaurants at El Merceta 3 mins from resort.
free beach was quite good but again you got hassled when you first arrived there
felt safe walking out at night
if you go on any excursions starting before breakfast then make sure you ask the night before for a breakfast box to take with you

“ dirty, we have all come home ill with tummy bug, the staff were excellent but the entertainment staff are terrible / lack of entertainment, the swim up pool bar was never open and was self service not acceptable, the food was always the same not enough choice and they didn't really make an effort with the children's choices

This is a well maintained and modern beach hotel, located at the Ras Um Sid plateau, the underwater park famous for scuba diving and snorkelling. It is air-conditioned and comprises a total of 136 guest rooms. Facilities on offer include a 24-hour reception, café, a small supermarket, an on-site hairdresser, a bar, a TV room and a restaurant. In addition to this the hotel provides a laundry service, cycle hire and a kids' club to keep younger guests entertained. The hotel is situated in Ras Um Sid, about a 10-minute drive from Naama Bay. There is a free shuttle bus to Naama Bay private beach (4 km away) and to Amphoros private beach, which is 350 m from the hotel. There is an abundance of shops and restaurants in the resort centre. The main diving site is 5 km away. Each room comes with an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, a satellite/ cable television, a mini fridge, individually adjustable air conditioning, a safe and either a balcony or a terrace.
