I spend 5 days diving with the excellent Elite Diving(Divers United) who have a Dive Centre on the premises when I stay here.
The hotel is clean and basic compared to some in the Sharm area and the breakfasts are more than acceptable. (I stay B&B). There are 2 nice pools which were a little chilly in March but get a lot warmer during the summer months. The staff are reasonably helpful and friendly.
There is a complex about 200m away called Il Mercato where there are shops, a mini market a pharmacy etc. Within the complex there are a plethora of restaurants ranging from KFC and McDonalds to Italian and Chineese. There is also a nice bar there called the Stella Bar.
They run a shuttle bus to the beach regularly throughout the day and also into Naama Bay every evening, a taxi will cost you between £1.50 and £2.00 into Naama Bay.
Overall I think this hotel offers good value for money and I have enjoyed several stays there in the last year.
“ Top Tip: There is a great little bar called "The Half Crown" about 200 yards away run by a lovely couple from the midlands.

The Coral Hills Resort, recently under new management was an excellent choice for me as it provided value for money and surprised me by exceeding my expectations. The reception was always couteous and helpful, the restaurant and bar areas efficient and well managed and the housekeeping excellent with fresh towels and bed linen daily.
There was rigorous attention paid to the hotel's facilities and entertainment by the new General Manager, Hany who chose to be visible and available to his guests.
The choice of food at all meals was wide and included both cold fare and hot meals with the opportunity to order from the a la carte menu if you wanted other selections. The pools and grounds were meticulously tended. The onsite diving centre and Spa were excellent too both of which I can recommend. The only slight negative comment was the gym area as the equipment appeared overdue a service!
I was sufficiently impressed to book another holiday there in October when I know I shall receive a warm welcome.
“ Top Tip: The hotel is adjacent to the El Mercato shopping area where there are several fast food outlets with Wifi if you wish. Also clothing shops, a pharmacy, a dive shop and restaurants for those not on half board or all inclusive packages. I was was not hassled in the area which is in contrast to Naama Bay.

Hotel was very clean and room was spacious and comfortable. Rooms were made up every day and clean towels supplied. Cleaning staff also left interesting towel sculptures on one of the beds when returned to the room, including a swan, rabbit, flower elephant and turkey!
Staff were very pleasant and pleased to help. Breakfast was quite varied including cereals, pastries, fresh fruit salad, toast and freshly cooked pancakes or omelettes.
Excellent value for money.

Top Tip:
A short taxi ride away or 20 min. walk was a very good private beach El Fanar. It cost 60 EP (Egyptian pounds) each to get in, approx. £6.50, but you did get a bottle of water, a towel and access to a padded sun lounger and thatched sun shade. This also gave jetty access to some brilliant snorkeling on the coral reef.
A 100 yards away was the Il Mercato shopping centre, where restaurants were plentiful. One which did wonderful pasta, pizzas and fish dishes was 'Onions'. Also the Stella Bar was very popular and you are able to order your food from the surrounding restaurants, without moving from your table.

“ Before I booked this hotel I read the mixed reviews. My opinion is that Coral Hills is a very well run, clean, attractive hotel. Of course in a country so different to our own there are bound to be little niggles but the staff were extremely helpful, professional and efficient. Anxious to please and correct any problems. The food was sometimes not to everyone's taste but there was always plenty of choice and something for everyone. The rooms are large and the pool area particulary attractive. It is fantastic value for money.
“ Top Tip: The area called Il Mercato is a lovely shopping mall full of shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc.

Second time staying at this hotel, and to be honest the room was much bigger than the first time. We'd thought we did well last time here, but this one exceeded our expectations. The hotel is small compared to others, but the atmosphere is one of family rather than business.
We usually choose B&B on account of the fact that we aren't usually around to take advantage of the All Inclusive offer. Besides which, you're minutes away on foot from Il Mercato with its Pizza Hut, Onions, KFC, McD's amongst others, all reasonably priced.
The restaurant does not have air conditioning (worth noting in my opinion) and you won't fond a huge array of facilities, but what they do have is very nice. The pool has never yet been too crowded, gardens are well tended. Staff are always very friendly, but I've always found that they respond depending on the way they are treated, and I've been shocked at how some Brits behave abroad towards others (Not All...just some !)
We find this hotel the perfect (and cheap) base for our diving holidays in Sharm, and will likely return early next year.
“ Top Tip: The hotel taxi service is Very cheap ! and they'll even wait for you and bring you back if you ask nicely =)
