Perfect if your looking for quite holiday away from everything.
The Hotel is very quite at the moment but that seems to be the cause for the resort at the moment.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and it always lives up to expectations. If you want to avoid the 'tattoo brigade' and 'lager louts' as seen in all-inclusive hotels, this is the place to be.
This is a hotel with very high standards, exceptional staff, and beautiful surroundings and fortunately hasn't gone down the 'all-inclusive' route. Long may it stay this way!!!. If you are a discerning traveller, who appreciates good manners, clean, well kept surroundings and good taste then look no further. The staff are trained to a very high standard, which shines through in your interactions with them. You may need slightly deeper pockets, but you only get what you pay for in this life.
“
Top Tip:
Go to Soho Square for an upmarket experience in comparison with Naama Bay, which in some parts is quite 'tacky'.
Eat at 'The Silk Road' within Grand Rotana Hotel, and you won't be disappointed.
Food around the pool at lunchtimes is reasonably priced and very good.
Take a taxi to Hadaba (far end of Sharm past Naama Bay) and go for drinks at Farsha (a bar/shisha place built into cliffside) quite original.
If you do go to Naama Bay, escape the hustle and bustle by going to Iberotel Lido, which is quiet and romantic, the jetty is lit up into sea where you can see amazing lion fish. Also that end of Naama is Panorama Star shop, which is fixed price (no hassle) for gifts.

“ Excellent hotel - the staff were very helpful too. The 3 A La Carte restaurants were truly fantastic. It has nearly everything you need in a hotel, but if you want to explore outside then you will need to get a taxi or use the complimentary bus to Nama bay.

“ The staff in the hotel can't do enough for you - excellent service. However, the hotel isn't as good as the pictures and definitly not a 5 star. The hotel is tired and needs a bit of an uplift. The food was ok, a bit repetitive but you could find something to eat everyday. The other restaurants, silk road restaurant, Mezzaluna and Palms grill were lovely albeit you have to pay if you are half board and a bit pricey. Note: July is the month for the Arab school holidays so there were lots of children around however, the complex is large enough for you to rest and relax if you needed to. Try the massages at the Zen Spa, they were amazing!
“ Top Tip: Soho Square and Naama bay were good to visit to break up the evenings.

“ Listed here as 5*....... in the brouchures as 4* Our room was in need of some TLC!!! Which was bit of a let down for our 1st experience of a Hilton hotel, Staff helpful, housekeeping was good, service in resturant excellent although food was not that hot.

This beach hotel is one of the biggest resorts in Sharm el-Sheikh and offers a wide selection of rooms, chalets, suites and villas to satisfy different tastes and family sizes. All accommodation is equipped with the latest amenities and services. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, air conditioning, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a cloakroom in addition to conference facilities, Internet access, a cafe, a bar, a restaurant, a dining room, a hairdressing salon, a nightclub, a TV room and a kids' club. “ Where to start? If you were travelling with a small family, then the fact that you are imprisoned in the hotel but close to the beach probably wouldn't bother you at all - well for a week at least.
