Good

Check-in date:

Great location. Just 50 steps and you will be in Na'ama bay the heart of Sharm El Sheikh. If you want to spend whole of your time in hotel room then this is not a place for you. However if you want to explore Sharm El Sheikh and that too on budget then this will exactly suit you. Interiors needs renovation. However beds are comfortable. Private beach is heaven for snorkelling. Beach is not that great if you want to take sun bath only. Loads of fishes and corals on its private beach. We went in May and it was a great experience. You will get little more then what you have paid for. Hitel staff is good and would surely revisit.

Top Tip: Private beach is too gud for snorkelling. You will find thousands of fishes and corals.

I've stayed here 3 times over the last 2 years and I love the Halomy, but it is getting a bit too tired now and needs some things fixing. Remember what you are paying and you'll be fine, its in the perfect location!

Top Tip: Get a sea view room.

The hotel is a little tired, but the price reflects this. It is ideally placed to be near to the hustle and bustle of the town but not in the thick of things. It has a fantastic view across the bay. It's small enough to be friendly and have a family feel but large enough to have some of the facilities you would expect from a larger hotel.
It's the second time I've stayed here and would certainly come back.
Food is fine with a reasonable choice, though more fruit would be appreciated.
Staff are all friendly and willing and help make the stay more enjoyable.

Top Tip: Take a walk down town in an evening along the road where all the beach bars are. You never know what you might find - entertainment or a romantic setting by the water's edge under the moonlight.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Our first room was unsuitable and unpleasant but they were more than happy to move us. Our new room was fabulous. Spacious, clean and fab views of naama bay. The hotel is very basic and certainly in need of some tic. The staff werewonderful. Location was spot on and i will certainly come again. The food was nice even a little repetitive at times. Unfortunately no entertainment but the staff made up for it with their hospitality and sense of humour. Will miss them all.

On arrival we were extremely disappointed with the hotel. It was very old and in need of decoration and renovation. The reception was dirty. We were shown to a room which was dirty. The windows were very very hard to open, the bedding was dirty, the sofa covers were torn and dirty. The bathroom was very old, and in poor repair, as was the whole room. We complained and were moved to a room upstairs. This room was in the same poor state of repair but was however clean. It took several phone calls to reception to get the electricity working and then to get the hairdryer working (part of it was missing). The air conditioning did not work. The hotel grounds were also in a state of disrepair and everything is in urgent need of renovation. HOWEVER, the staff were excellent, they couldn't do enough for us. The food was good, very tasty and plenty of choice. The situation of the hotel, right above Nama Bay is first class and the views are excellent. Towels were provided in the room and round the pool but they were all very worn and old. Having said this we would stay here again as the staff more than make up for the hotel's deficiencies. If you want a cheap budget hotel then this is the place for you.

Top Tip: Be warned when you go into Nama Bay you will be pestered beyond belief to buy tat from the shops.
