“ The hotel was quite empty and business had obviously been affected by the riots in Cairo and Alexandria. However this was to our advantage. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The grounds,3 pools and beach were first class. My 12 year old was entertained by the tennis, squash, table tennis and pools. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We were half board. The breakfast buffet was delicious- with a wide selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt,cheese,bread, pastries and cooked breakfast. In the evening you could eat in the Souk where there was a selection of outdoor vendors selling different food ( Italian, Chinese, Middle Eastern and sea food). You were given 240 egyptian pounds each (£24) to spend on dinner. There was also a sweet vendor offering enticing desserts, patisserie and confecterie. It got a little chilly in the evening so there were outdoor heaters. Every night there was entertainment eg belly dancing, plate spinning and Egyptian music. Will definitely go back next year.

“ Good, everything all in one place. Beach (with tropical fish), pool, bars and restaurants. Helpful staff. Hotel getting a bit shabby but work is being carried out to upgrade the rooms. Sea Front Twin was good size with large bathroom.

we were three hours into our flight when we had to return to Gatwick with maintance problem on plane ! so did not arrive until Sunday a day later.
on arrival we got upgraded to a penthouse suite so had no complaints.

“ Great staff, consistently helpful and polite. Good food, very nice clean room. All top quality. The only problem we had was that the high speed internet connection went down for a number of days, but this was not the fault of the hotel as the main service router in Sharm el Sheikh had gone down.

“ Listed here as 5*....... in the brouchures as 4* Our room was in need of some TLC!!! Which was bit of a let down for our 1st experience of a Hilton hotel, Staff helpful, housekeeping was good, service in resturant excellent although food was not that hot.

The hotel is built on 18% of the 120,000 me site and is popular because of its comfortable and luxurious service; the rest of the grounds are beautifully landscaped with gardens, pools and walkways. This hotel comprises 230 rooms, of which 2 are Royal Suites, as well as 12 restaurants and bars serving international cuisine, and conference facilities. The nursery, playground and children's club provide lots of activities and entertainment for kids.

Royal Grand Sharm is a classic hotel,a popular choice with the discerning customer.The splendid waterfront and architecture give it a special character. There is a bright and cheery appearance to the hotel giving it a homely feel away from home. The elegance and luxury are remarkable in all rooms. Architecturally, every room in the hotel has a nice view. Although the hotel is in a quite location you can reach the resort centre of Sharm El Sheikh or Naama Bay very easily as there is a shuttle bus to take you there, 3 times a day. Note: Special Offer rooms are run of house, therefore view will be either Garden, Pool or Sea View.
