“ Hotel was above average but would not class it as a 5 star hotel. Room was very nice and spacious, bathroom would need a bit of TLC. Grounds were maintained very well and the staff was very friendly and food was ok. The negative side was that they were spraying some kind of mosquito repellent in the lobby area as we walked in after coming back from an entertainment night outside the resort and no signs of warning. They should lock the main lobby and divert the guests via a side entrance. This repellent spray made me feel quite bad and my voice almost went completely. We did complain the next morning but not sure if any note was taken.

“ The hotel is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. It may have been when it opened, but now the rooms are a bit run down and could do with some general maintenance.
The garden is lovely, it is not crowded, there is a feeling of space. The staff is friendly. The food is fine, but nothing special. I would have expected more variety from a 5 star hotel. The beach is nice, but you cannot jump in the water and swim from the beach, you will have to jump in from the pier which gets very crowded. Most days it was too windy to swim in the sea. There is a small heated pool which gets quite crowded and a large lovely pool which is very cold. The area outside the hotel does not offer any restaurants, but there are some local shops. You will have to take a taxi to Naama Bay (or Soho Square) which takes 15-20 minutes if you want to go shopping or go to a restaurant.

“ Top Tip: There is a very good place to horse ride 10 min taxi ride from Radisson Hotel. It is run by a German lady, Anne-Marie and she has the most wonderful horses. Her stable is situated in the Mangroves north of Nabq Bay. You have the option of riding on the beach in the Nature Resort or the mountains. I can warmly recommend the stables

“ We returned to the Radisson Blu after having a wonderful holiday there in 2011. I was amazed at how many of the staff remembered us, they are so friendly and helpful, always wanting to please. The hotel is lovely, very relaxed and there is a fabulous entertainments team. The restaurant is great and the food excellent, the rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard and I would recommend it to anyone.
