The area is renowned throughout the world for its coral reefs, and is a highly popular destination amongst diving and snorkelling enthusiasts.

The climate is warm and sunny all year round, which makes the city a destination of choice both in summer and wintertime. Outdoor dining area would be an advantage. Comfortable, cushioned seating would be great outside Reception/Main Bar/Restaurant area.
Overall, an excellent hotel - we thoroughly enjoyed our second visit and will go again.

Top Tip: Treat all the staff with respect and the rewards are tenfold.

This hotel is an attractive complex with extremely polite and helpful staff. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms comfortable and spacious, and the variety of food should satisfy all tastes with a choice of several places to eat. It is not close to any outside shops or bars, but you can buy essentials in the on site shops. There are lots of sunbeds by the pool or along the beach with windbreaks and sunshades with easy access to snorkelling either in the lagoon or off the jetty to the reef. The entertainment team provide a varied programme, but it is also possible to escape to a quiet space if you choose to walk a little distance along the beach.

We arrived in the evening, our taxi dropped a few people at different resorts first; ours looked much nicer than the ones we'd just seen - the Sea Life, Sea Club and Sea Garden resorts are grouped together, looking quite grand.

The room was large with a good bathroom and massive bed. The pool was nicely kept and not too busy, with free towels and numerous free bars. The food was very nice and fresh, though there were a lot of bland dishes, every mealtime had a couple of (often cooked on the spot) dishes that were very tasty. The desserts weren't great, we tended to occasionally buy ice cream instead.

The resort staff were superb, very kind and helpful. Everywhere within the resort was very safe, you could leave possessions out without worrying. There weren't many other English guests and entertainment was aimed more at the Eastern Europeans, the karaoke and stage shows were embarrassingly dated.

There were very few mosquitoes and I didn't get an upset stomach at all. Overall, we had a great time, plenty of relaxation with a few days out. We could see ourselves there again, maybe in a few years.

Top Tip: The Lebanese El Diwania restaurant was fantastic - only 10 EUR per head (drinks included) for 5 lovely courses on a rooftop terrace.

Quad biking was brilliant fun, just be firm with the sales reps who constantly hound you on the first couple of days. If you don't want to be disturbed, just tell them you've already booked trips with your reps.

Just returned from this hotel and would never go back.Party of 4 went 2 adults 1 child and 1 16 month old baby.First 2 days were ok then the illness started and lasted for the next 12 days.Only one who was ok was the baby and we took our own baby ready meals for her.Chemist was a nice man got to know him very well after spending so much time and money with him.Been to sharm a few times and never had this problem at other hotels.Reception staff and the staff in the sports bar were very unhelpful and everything was so much trouble for them.Pool bar staff were ok as long as the tips kept coming but as soon as they stopped drinks were slammed down and only wish i could have understood what they were saying as people walked away with the drinks.Didn't look to be a great choice of food to eat on the odd day one of us were well enough to eat.Restaurant staff were good and couldn't do enough for you and spent most of the time fetching us peppermint tea to try and make us better. As has been said in other reviews to many people getting ill at this hotel and it needs sorting out. Hotel itself is very nice with good pools and nice gardens but just seems to need a good sort out and if you do want to go out at night you will need a taxi because it is in the middle of nowhere.

Top Tip: My top tip is book another hotel if you want a good holiday
