“ we arrived at about 10pm and just in time for supper, our first impressions were very good, next morning we went for breakfast and thought this was good you would be hard pushed not to find something to eat. We walked around and thought the hotel was very nice. Our room was lovely except the bathroom which needed updating. The snack bar beside the children's pool, was the first disappointing thing we came across, as while waiting to be served, we noticed that there were loads of little (spuggies) birds on the inside of the counter, picking away at the bread buns which were either getting put out for lunch or over from breakfast.(needless to say we didn't stay for lunch!) The food in the main restaurant was very nice and a good choice but did get a little repetitive, same food different name! the birds were also a problem in here and we saw on a few occasions people collecting their food and coming back to a bird sitting on the plate. Not much going on at a night time, unless you went and watched the shows which we were told told weren't that good. but being 40 something wasn't really really for us, and the only other choice was a foreign singer!, the mosquitos are very very bad, and some very nasty bites, they do spray them every night so make sure you have plenty of protection against them. the doctors in the hotel very good, but make sure you have a good insurance if you are visiting them, as they will want that if you require treatment. bottled water in your room every day, the staff really friendly and couldn't do enough, internet prices and to keep your room on longer a little expensive, but after hearing other peoples reports at airport about other hotels, i think we done really well picking this one.
“ Top Tip: Not really near anything unless you get taxi to naama bay or soho square, but not much there and you get a lot of hassle to buy.

“
On the whole the hotel did not live up to our expectations of what a 5* hotel should be. The good points were the food in the restaurant, and the waiter service. Bad points are that the drinks were warm and this was on most days. We had to send them back and ask for drinks to be brought in from the bar in the foyer. There were a few of the beach bars closed, the one that was open the food was often cold and there was little choice.
The rooms were clean and basic but lacked a 5* service (on one night we found a cockroach). We also had to ask on several occasions for the room to be sprayed for mosquitos even though we kept the door and windows closed at all times. We have been to lower star hotels in the area which gave a better room service.
“ Top Tip: There was nothing at all outside of the hotel apart from a parade of basic shops who gave nothing but hassle.
