Situated directly on the sands of Sharks Bay, which is set in beautiful landscaped grounds with fantastic views of the Red Sea, Sinai desert and mountains. The AA Grand Oasis Resort is an 'all-inclusive' hotel, offering a wonderful combination of sea and mountain scenery.
Add to that the broad range of facilities and guests are assured of a holiday to remember: from relaxing massages to beach games.
Then there's dancing and, of course, dining in the Grand Oasis Resort's fine range of restaurants and bars.

The AA Grand Oasis Hotel was a pleasant place to stay during our holiday, offering all of the amenities we could have hoped for. The room was spacious and clean and the housekeeping staff very thorough.
The staff were all very attentive and friendly, some possibly over friendly at times.
The Spa in the hotel was fantastic and we made the most of these facilities and the reasonable prices offered for the treatment packages.
The one thing that I feel let this hotel down was the food. The food provided was tasty and cooked well, however there was not a lot to choose from and the same few choices were provided every day with not a lot of variation. I tended to find myself eating the same things at dinner time each day.
“ Top Tip: Make sure you visit Soho Square of an evening as the sun sets. The Queen Vic is the ideal spot to sit and drink as the sun goes down.

Very friendly and helpful(all male) staff - just remember not to be British and smile! Also, the staff talk to you, not to hard sell but to practice their English. Give them one or two minutes of your time to chat, then smile and say "no" if you don't want a spa or scuba and everyone is happy!
This is our fourth times here - we love it although food in main buffet is interesting and meat in short supply, but no need to go hungry, just look at everything till you see what you like.
And be brave and walk to Soho Square for a nice stroll and night out.

The pool area was lovely, although there were not enough umbrellas to provide shade - approx 1 umbrella to 10/12 sunbeds, which is not ideal in 36 degree heat, especially for those with small children. The only downside to the pool area is the constant hassle from the health club staff, who consistently refuse to take no for an answer.
The lobby was beautiful, staff attentive and courteous and the room we were given (sea and pool view, although we had only paid for land view) was lovely.
The massive drawback to this hotel is the food/restaurant area. There is what seems like a good choice, but it is mostly tasteless, and strange combinations (for example we had some of the food out of the unit marked canneloni, to find that it was not pasta, but was a number of pancakes/crepes with a tomato sauce sandwiched between) The food was so dire on a number of occasions we left the hotel and ate elsewhere (not ideal when we had deliberately chosen an all inclusive hotel so as not to worry about the cost of meals elsewhere)
On top of the 'interesting' food choices were the cockroaches which we saw running round one of the columns next to the food.
Other than the food, I would happily stay again, purely for the views, rooms, staff (although not the pushy health club staff!) and weather!

Top Tip:
Soho Square is within walking distance, and has many shops and restaurants, a few bars and even a nightclub. There was live music every night, which was lovely and relaxing.
The main reason for going to Sharm again and again is the Camel Bar Roof -it's lovely to be able to sit with a glass of wine or a beer after a lazy day in the sun, or a day out diving!

Just had a wonderful week's holiday here! The staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them! A member of our party also needed medical attention briefly and we couldn't fault the efficiency and thoroughness of the Doctor who also speedily sorted out any paperwork involved.
We also stayed at the sister hotel to this one, AA Amwaj, in March and were equally pleased with our stay.
“ Top Tip: Make sure you visit the market in Old Sharm.
