Been to this hotel 3 times now, but the third time will be my last, the only way I can discribe this hotel is little Moscow, I have never seen so many Russians in the one place, Since I was last there a year ago, 95% of the guests are all inclusive, this would be Ok if the food was nice, However in the several restaurants that this Hotel have the food is all the same Plain and Bland! I would recommend bed & breakfast if that option is available now, The hotel choosing to go all inclusive has only encouraged bing drinking, I was amazed when arriving on the first night entering the hotel foyer which also has the bar close by that most of the guests where very drunk, (not an encouraging sight to see when checking in) most days were the same, I was shocked on one day I say one guest so drunk at 2pm he was being carried to his room by the staff, with only tight Speedo shorts on... and this is at reception, not a good image the hotel should be showing. the Hotel has several pools and poolside bars, this behaviour was common at all the pools, at night the hotel turned into a night club and that was the rooms, the Russians turned there rooms into disco's on most nights.
If your looking for a quiet relaxing holiday please go somewhere else. I was told by a member of staff that the reason there was so many Russian tourist's was because they were being offered upto 50% discounts on the hotel booking!
The first time I had been to this hotel in 2007 it was great so I went back again in 2009 again it was good, but then when I went back 2010 it was like a different hotel, I will not be back
“ Top Tip: Tandoori restaurant in the Camel club was good, a tad expensive but worth it.

“ The Rosetta is in a great location - just cross over the road walk through the Hilton grounds and this takes you to a promenade for a pleasant stroll into town. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. The rooms in the Rosetta are rather tired. We were given room 2110 which is at the back of the hotel complex in a newer section called the Jasmine club. If you can get a room in this newer section you should be pleased with the standard. It is very good value for money. We were very comfortable but the air conditioning did struggle to keep the room at an appropriate temperature. As we are divers it makes a great base and is just over 10 minutes walk to the Red Sea College. We used the pick up service organised by Travel Republic from the airport and this service was excellent. I've checked out the hotel thinking of a return in 2011 but it isn't showing on a bed and breakfast basis. With so many lovely restaurants within walking distance I wouldn't want to stay here on a half board or AI basis. Sharm is a fun place and you can eat out very well indeed without breaking the budget. The Rosetta has linked with another hotel to give you beach access.
“ Top Tip: The Italian at the Marriot hotel offers scrumptuos food. The Indian and the Italian Restaurant (Pommadoro) both at the Camel Bar/Hotel are excellent. The Mexican restaurant in the corner opposite the Mall is really good and excellent VFM. We had a great steak at a restaurant called something like Dannair - I've mispelt it but it's a first floor restaurant on the same main Street as the Camel Bar - opposite end same side.
