“ Too geared for business users.
The All inclusive stopped at 10 pm, couldn't even get a coffee after this time, this was too early !!

Otherwise it was very clean and the staff were very friendly and in the main they were helpful.

“ Top Tip: No - the area was too remote, not the hotel's fault.

“ Unfortunately we had a 1 day power cut during our stay which was uncomfortable for the family as there was no air conditioning. The power failure was not a fault of Marriot and they did compensate all guests with a free lunch, however it was a long 24 hrs.

We felt that the staff numbers were perhaps on the low side and the hotel could have urtilised the bar staff in the grotto bar better by having them walk around and offer to serve guests drinks whilst they were collecting the empties - seemed a wasted opportunity to sell more drinks and provide guests with a simple solution to getting refreshments without having to break up their relaxation - small point but perhaps things like that make a very good hotel a fantastic hotel.

Rooms were great and facilities also although the resort was very quite for the time of year we thought. Mini bar could have been restocked for us rather than having to call reception to ask for it to be restocked.

“ Top Tip: Quad biking by "Canyon" was very good.

“ Hotel was excellent and sea view rooms were extremely convenient for the beach. Restaurant seemed under pressure at mealtimes and one had to wait occaisionally for clean crockery. This is definitely a beach holiday as there is not a lot to do outside the hotel unless you are in to scuba diving / snorkelling

“ I was travelling alone and found the hotel staff excellent and attentive. They really looked after me. The hotel was clean and well looked after. The food was cooked well and attention was payed to cleanliness in the food hall.The hotel was not noisy at night and was fantastic for a relaxing holiday. It is a mature Hotel so the gardens around the guest rooms and pools are very pretty and established.The Marriott has interesting low level features like towers and bridges etc around the guest rooms and it stands out from the other hotels in the complex because it is not just a concrete block. My guest room was a standard seaview and it was very big and lived up to all expectations.

“ Top Tip: Top tip - take the free shuttle bus in the evenings / afternoon especially if you have got too hot in the sun. It is open sided and you get cooled down with the breeze. It is also good for paying the other hotels in the complex a visit to see what they are like. ( I thought The Marriott was the best!)
