Top Tip:
best hot chocolate drink and cakes go to pierre cafe in the masters courtyard,
for a wonderful steak try munga kelder restaurant , service a bit slow but well worth the wait. for good pub food and beer try the hell hunt pub.
dont be put off by the look of pubs and restaurants from the outside , open the door and have a look inside you will be very suprised .

“ The hotel was fabulous. Lovely room and decor throughout hotel. Huge and comfortable bed. Great spa facilities. Pleasant and courteous staff. Excellent service and food in the restaurant for breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Top Tip:
Try the medieval restaurant up the road from the hotel - food by candle light, traditional drinks and food and even a privy!
Great restaurant opposite the hotel with entertainment the night we went.
The hotel was located round the corner from the main square where they had the christmas market so very central.
