lovely hotel and in my opinion in an excellent location. most of all you need entertinment/dining you need to do is in gorgeous old town and this hotel (once you get a map from reception for free) is right on the corner of it. other than a uphill walk for about 100 yards its a great walk, and next thing you know you are inside old town to walk around and see everything.
breakfast was very nice and plenty to choose from, so there will certainly be something for everyone. the spa you can hire out just for yourselves which is nice, relax in the japanese bath and sauna with your partner to relax together before heading out in the cold ( i went in feb ).
beds are so compfy and a good sized tv, with free internet access aswell, showers were powerful and very hot with heated floor. all in all a great hotel no problems what so ever, the staff very helpful to me being english they recommended places to go and eat and they did not let me down
“ Top Tip: i looked at trip advisor to see what there is to do in estonia and eople say the kompressor for this massive pancake, yes i got 1 and yes they are amazing and at 4 euro a bargin, but my top choice would be a restaurant called olde hansa - i got a feast for a meal and the atmosphere and the food was the best i think ive ever had! trust me a place to eat - cinnamon beer too or honey beer is worth a try too

Building of character which had been comprehensively upgraded and modernised. The location is quiet yet close enough to all the major toursit an cultural attractions. Staff were attentive and the buffet breakfast was first class.
The only word of warning is that twin rooms means two single beds stuck together which is not ideal

Unfortunately, we found this hotel a bit disappointing. When we arrived it was explained to us that we had been allocated a room in their other 'house'. This turned out to be the City Hotel a 100 metres or so down the road.
Our room was clean enough, but basic and had seen better days. It couldn't possibly be classified as four star. The information in the room explained that breakfast would be in the form of a 'breakfast bag' to be found in what was a sort of common room in the basement. Breakfast in the main hotel was available for an 8 euro supplement. The information also advised that room cleaning and fresh towels would be available at an additional cost. It turned out that none of this applied to us, but we were not sure of this until we checked out.
I know that we didn't pay a lot of money for our stay, but that is besides the point.
“ Top Tip: Cafe Mademoiselle in the Meriton Hotel across the road for great coffee and cakes
