“ Top Tip: transfer from airport to helsinki centre used finair service 15 yards from terminal bustop 10 every 20 min to helsinki just over 6 euro takes 30 min to center

“ I booked a trip to Finland as a surprise for my boyfriends 21st birthday. The hotel was in a brilliant location: a 5 minute walk from the train station and opposite the huge department store Stockman. Great location! Arriving at the hotel, we were told that we had been upgraded to a king suite which was awesome! We caught the Finnair bus from the airport to the hotel which cost €6.20 each (much cheaper than a taxi!) the bus dropped us at the train station. The room was lovely and the bed was really comfy! We visited Helsinki early November. If we went again, we would visit closer to Christmas as there would be Christmas markets and the ice rink.
“ Top Tip: After visiting the Cathdral, we went to a lovely cafe/restaurant near the harbour. It looked like a glass house and was decorated in twinkling fairy lights. We stopped there for coffee and cake; an inviting break from the cold.

“ A very pleasant hotel right in the centre - we loved everything from the decor to the sumptuous breakfast bar.
“ Top Tip: The 12th floor bar at the Torni hotel around the corner and the 10th floor beautifully old-fashioned restaurant at the Sokos Hotel opposite the station. And not to forget the kitschy Lappi restaurant nearby.
