Splendid Hotel was a 7 min walk straight up from the beach..and a short walk takes you to plenty of restaurants and also train station .Airport bus stops 10 minutes away on main Promenade anglais..... €4 min ride on No 98 bus. Room was very clean and spacious with a small balcony which had table and chairs. Roof top restaurant had great views over Nice. it provided a very good breakfast...dinner menu was good Three course meal with wine at around €40
Swimming pool and sun deck on rooftop terrace.
Staff were very helpful and friendly...I would stay here again.

Top Tip:
Plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area. The bus ride to Monaco follows the coast and has lovely views....all buses in the Principality cost 1€... No matter what the distance

“ Having read previous comments on trip advisor was a bit concerned as to the hotel would be like, but nothing to worry about. A lovely hotel, very friendly helpful reception and dining room staff. We were given a deluxe room with a spa bath, lovely hotel, excellent location. Would definitely return.
“ Top Tip: The Sporting Beach, although expensive for a sun lounged, had lovely setters and tables and chairs, excellent facilities.

hotel comfortable,breakfast good (could do with investing in a better toaster, there was only a domestic one which only took 2 slices of bread )
Tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms would have been nice & free wi-fi would have also been a bonus!
Fantastic view from the restaurant,lovely eating breakfast with a view of the mountains & sea.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Splendid. The staff were all very friendly.
We did feel a little cramped in the Bar as it was situated in with the Dining area.
A tea/coffee making facilitity in our room would had been most appreciated.
We would most definately return to the Hotel Splendid as it was situated in a most
convenient location too.

Hotel is getting a bit old but I was impressed by reception and the amount of information they had. They were very helpful.
Food in the evening in restaurant could not be faulted.
Breakfast room could be congested in the morning especially with overnight parties.
