“ Top Tip: Buy a day ticket for bus/tram(4 euros). This can take you from airport to anywhere e.g. Monaco or for a couple of stops to save your weary feet.

We were very happy with this hotel. The star attraction was the roof top swimming pool and bar area (8th floor), which was very well maintained. The view from the pool was great as the hotel is taller than most buildings in Nice. You can see the Citadel, Hotel Negresco's famous dome and the Med in the background.
The pool itself is approx 10m long (probably more) and was clean. I don't think it was heated, but it wasn't necessary in 30C+ heat. There were plenty of sun loungers and a serene 1st floor garden too.
The staff were very friendly and helpful from the front desk staff to the cleaners. The staff generally spoke very good English, but are patient if you inflict GCSE French upon them.
The room was a good size and clean.
The hotel is positioned just off the mainstream shopping high street approx 7 mins walk to the main rail station, which was good for our day trips to Cannes, Monaco and St Tropez (St Tropez was train + boat). The Old Town and Beach is a 10min walk away, which was fine for us.
It was noticeable how Nice deteriorates as you go north towards the station, so something to keep in mind.
