Built by Lord Egerton at the beginning of the 19th century, the Hotel Brighton**** was one of the first hotels in Paris. It offers sublime views of the Jardin des Tuileries and Paris’ most famous monuments. The hotel is located next to the prestigious shops of Rue and Faubourg Saint Honoré and near major cultural points of interest such as the Louvre Museum, The Orsay Museum and the Jeu de Paume Museum. This is the ideal address for your Parisian stay.

The lounge, the breakfast room and all the rooms have been fully refurbished in 2006, combining the “spirit of the place”, comfort and elegance.

The 61 rooms and suites are decorated with antique furniture, delivering the charm and the elegance of the classic Parisian style. They are fitted with a flat screen satellite television, free Wi-Fi access, mini-bar, telephone and air conditioning. Kettles with drinks are available upon request.

Check-in date:

Fantastic hotel with a superb location. We arrived about 10am and despite the fact the hotel had made a small mistake with our reservation, this was quickly rectified and we were able to go straight up to our room hours before check in. We didn't pay for a view room but we still had a fantastic view of the palace gardens from our balconette. The concierge was helpful and friendly, breakfast was good. There wasn't a huge selection but it was enough and what you would have expected really. Location wise we couldn't have done better. It's within easy reach if everything. We did all the sites and was able to walk to all of them however if you didn't fancy the walk there's a metro station right outside of the hotel. I would definitely stay at hotel brighton again!

Top Tip: If your arriving by train, go to the information desk at bare du nord and ask about metro tickets. It takes 10 mins on the metro to hotel brighton on 2 lines (incredibly easy) you can get tickets which permit any route in Paris for the length of your entire stay. We were there 2 days and it cost us 17 euros.
If you plan to see the Eiffel Tower make sure you pre book tickets. The queue takes about 2 and a half hours.
Lastly... Wear comfortable shoes if you plan to walk everywhere, my feet are shredded!

Hotel was very good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for access to all the sights. Breakfast was reasonable quality but limited choice of cooked food, staff though struggled when busy.

Great hotel, great staff, great location for Paris!

Top Tip: To see the best of Paris, buy a two day hop on hop off bus ticket. Save you walking the length of Paris.

If planning to get a taxi watch out for the illegal taxis at the airport they usely hang around just before the legal taxi rank. A legal taxi should cost you from CDG €50 one way to Paris central.

Lovely hotel in a great location, within walking distance of the Louvre, Orsay, Seine and a couple of Metro stops very close by. The staff were very friendly, helpfull and polite. Breakfast was good, selection of fruits, croissants, eggs, sausages bacon, cooked meats etc. Clean spacious rooms. Excellent value for money in comparison to other hotels in the vicinity. Would definately stay here again if we are lucky enough to visit Paris again.
