The city's beautiful tourist attractions are easily explored with use of the local public transport, and the nearest stop is around 100 m away. Montmartre is just 800 m from the hotel and Chetelet Les Halles train station is just 1 km away, while the opera house is around 2 km away. “ Lovely hotel, staff helpful and friendly. Request for honeymoon package was lovely. Location was good easy to walk to the both Gard de Nord and gard de est. Plenty to eat at breakfast and never hurried. A very enjoyable stay.

The Soft Hotel in Paris is a small friendly hotel with excellent staff who make you feel very welcome and at home.
Breakfast was very good with a wide selection from cereal,warm croissants, breads, meats and cheeses, boiled eggs, yoghurts, fruit, fruit juices, tea, coffee ... I could go on.
We ordered a twin bedroom but were given a double by mistake. 2 minutes later we were in a twin. So 10 out of 10 for great people, nothing seemed a problem.
The room we stayed in was comfortable and spotless.
We will use this hotel again.
“ Top Tip: This hotel was easy to find and about 5 minutes walk from Gare de l'Est train station. There are lots of places to eat nearby and the Metro is easy to get to.

A warm welcome from friendly, interested and helpful staff. Rooms were both ready upon arrival, and all information provided upon check-in, including code for a very good free wi-fi connection, together with address details in case we were planning to use a taxi, and confirmed times for breakfast that was included in our rate.
The rooms, if anything, were a little on the small side and when travelling with 2 adults, each with a suitcase and a carry-on, it was tight, but still not unmanageable. The quality of the fittings and furnishings was quite good for what is clearly a recently refurbished hotel.
Location was well placed and close to major travel hubs, the RER and Metro stations - plenty to choose from in heading in every direction. Sufficient food options available as well with recommendations from the staff that proved good ones!
Breakfast each morning was plentiful involving cereal, juices, toast, pastries, breads, yoghurts, cheeses and some meats - all in good supply and fresh each day. Coffee, an assortment of teas and hot chocolate also were on offer.
Nothing was a trouble for the Reception team - they helped us make ourselves at home and this was appreciated. They also helped sort out tickets for Paris Disneyland and a tour to the Palace of Versailles. And luggage storage was also sorted out. All with a friendly smile along the way.
Overall our stay was comfortable and an enjoyable one and if visiting Paris again, the Soft Hotel will be one that we give high consideration to using once again.

Top Tip:
The best crepe shop in Paris - about a 10 minute walk, but well worth it, located on one side of Place de Republique. We visited many times!
Also the Hotel will recommend a small restaurant on the same side of the street, about a 3 minute walk. Good value, good variety, good quality and service with a smile - so take the advice and eat locally.
Also an Italian restaurant on Magenta Boulevard called Maya delivered some of the best wood fire pizza and pastas that I have had in a long time.
Plenty of options for food, but so much for shopping, but greta location for public transport to go and explore.
