“ Hotel is quite basic, but ok for price paid. Buffet breakfast was poor, not much choice and only apples for fresh fruit, but we only stayed there 2 nights, so no big impact. The only real drawback was that it was further from the centre of Paris than we had anticipated (although very close to a metro station). We discovered later that there are other Timhotels around Paris, and I think we picked the one furthest away from the centre without meaning to. Take care when booking!

“ Top Tip: There's a very well stocked health food shop close to the hotel, which for me was a life-saver.

“ Good if you want to have an easy access to the Metro. Room was small but clean - the bathroom was in need of refurbishment and I really don't trust places like that that don't have tiles on the floor. There was kettle for making tea but no cups save the plastic ones in the bathroom. The breakfast was good for a continental one (you will get cheese, ham, eggs and pancakes aside from typical items) and free wi fi was a big advantage. However we lost 50 euros we left in the room and cleaning service always put our things in different places. It was ok but due to the money incident I wouldn't come back.

“ Top Tip: Two steps from the Avron Metro Station and next to the wonderful Fusoka - Japanese restaurant with great food and low prices. Near shops and bakery.

“ Friendly staff, clean room. A good value budget hotel, not perfect but little to complain about.

“ I needed to be near the rer. It was about 4 mins away so that was brilliant. There was a supermarket 100yds away and restaurants close by. A bakery next door. At least 2 metro stations a couple of mins away. Breakfast was good for a french hotel. The room was clean and although it did not affect me my room was next to the quite busy main road. There was only 2 tea bags in the room with no milk or sugar or coffee. But it was a really good location and I was very pleased with my choice.
