“ Had a 2 night stay with my friend and really enjoyed the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable, authentic and quiet. The breakfast was very nice. Would recommend. Please beware of pick pockets, we got caught near the Eiffel Tower, they are so quick you don't stand a chance!!!

“ Very pleasant reception staff. Small rooms, as is the way in Paris. Very clean. Good breakfast. Not such a good area. Lots of groups of young men hanging around, may be intimidating to some. Very close to all amenities. We stayed for three nights and would definitely recommend this hotel

“ On arrival went to room but found it smelled strongly of smoke. Returned to reception where they were able to move us to another room though this room was rather small but on the following morning we were moved to another larger room for the rest of our stay. Reception staff were all helpful and obliging. Good transport links nearby to get around Paris.

“ An excellent tourist class hotel, room was quite small but adequate for our needs excellent shower facility, very clean. Breakfast was far better than normal for a tourist class hotel and the tea and coffee making facilities in the room were an added much appreciated bonus!! This hotel is an excellent choice for people arriving in Paris on Eurostar as it is situated over the road from Gare de L'Est one stop along the No 4 metro line from the Eurostar terminal at Gare Du Nord.

“ The room was tiny, the bed was huge (two single beds were put together). The tv channels were great as they have different languages. The toilet and a shower were stained so didn't have much pleasure using them. The breakfast was really nice but you have to get up early so you have a chance to try everything. The local area looked like a poor area. I wouldn't advise to walk in the evening near the hotel as there are many young people asking for cigarettes and money and don't look safe.
“ Top Tip: There was one PIANO BAR near our hotel which was nice because its a live piano there, nice food.
