“ The staff, rooms and location was excellent the only gripe we had was there was no toaster at breakfast, shame as you can always fill up on warm toast. The only hot food was just egg and bacon as the pancakes and crepes were cold.
“ Top Tip: The Das Kleine Steak House, Hohe Strasse (High Street) in the old town was fantasic the best steak we have ever had, lovely staff and not too expensive.They had really made and effort with the trendy Xmas decorations.

“ Close enough to town centre for those who don't mind a short walk. In quiet location, perfect for city break. We are a family of five who stayed for two nights, plenty to choose from for breakfast, staff were pleasant and the rooms were very comfy and roomy.

“ It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to some good restaurants. I would advise crossing over the road and walking by the river towards the cathederal. there is a gym and a sauna but no swiming pool. breakfast was very good but very very expensive. Rooms were very good and came with a mini bar but no safe. unusually on a double bed we had two single douvets which was strange but not unpleasant. bar was well stocked and quite. Did not try the restaurant.
“ Top Tip: Worth checking out the christmas markets. there are two near the cathederal which were hugh. The spiced wine is to die for and you can collect the different cups from each market. loads of different food and sweets to try.
