“ I ALWAYS TRY TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL WHEN IN DUSSELDORF AND IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT LIKE WITH TRAVELREPUBLIC THEN I ALWAYS GO FOR IT. THE HOTEL HAS JUST GONE THROUGH AN MAJOR RENOVATION TO THE ROOMS (THE BEDS HAVE DUVETS ON THEM WHICH IN MY OPINION ARE TOO THICK AND TEND TO KEEP YOU AWAKE ALL NIGHT),THE RESTAURANT WITH THE SELF-SERVICE AREA HAS BEEN RE-VAMPED AND THE BAR WHICH IS NOW THE FOCAL-POINT OF THE BIG LOUNGE SEEMS TO SERVE ALL DAY NOW.
“ Top Tip: TRY THE AREA IN THE ALTSTAD (OLD TOWN) NEAR THE RHINE FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND DRINKING, FOR THE BEST STEAKS IN GERMANY TRY EATING AT THE STREET WITH ALL SPANISH RESTAURANTS IN IT AND THEY ARE ALL OWNED BY ONE MAN !!

“ Average hotel, clean but a little outdated and needs redecoration. Staff friendly, quiet location yet not far from center with easy tram access just opposite hotel. Breakfast good with nice choices and even had freshly squeezed orange juice, the down side is that the buffet is dissembled at 10:35 with cluttering and hoovering, you feel you are being chased out! They should state breakfast is surved till 10am only so everyone would be out by 10:30
“ Top Tip: Nice walk along the river Rhine towards city center with nice views of Dusseldorf. Excellent restaurant in the altstadt, typical german food called "zum Schiffchen", very busy but service is fast so won't need to wait too long for a table.
