“ Having asked for a quiet room when booking with Travel Republic, I ended up with one overlooking a noisy street. Upon further inspection I found that the toilet did not flush properly, the shower fitting was broken and, underneath the covers, the duvets looked dirty. Fortunately, after complaining to reception, they moved me to a quieter room. In the second room the shower and toilet were fine. The buffet breakfast here was good, a decent and plentiful selection was available.
“ Top Tip: There's a very good Asian (mainly Japanese/Chinese/Thai) restaurant just a minute down the main road, heading towards the city centre. Good prices, very friendly service and good food.

“ The hotel is very conveniently placed for Frankfurt city centre. Some of the rooms, however leave a lot to be desired. The desk in my room was not put together properly, leaving jagged edges sticking out. The shower attachment was broken, the window didn't work very well. the television had to be unplugged and then reconnected for it to work and there were white marks all over one of the curtains. I have stayed in Ramada hotels that have been fantastic, but this is not one of them, despite its very useful location.

I'm glad I only stayed for one night.
The Hotel was ok, fairly clean, the room was a very good size, too warm (no air conditioning) and if you opened the windows it was very noisy, we had asked for a quiet room and when we checked in we again asked if the room was quiet, we were told yes it is quiet, but it wasn't, we were kept awake until 4 to 4.30 with party revellers outside car horns etc. The carpet was fairly stained, the walls had a number of marks on them and the bathroom was disappointing, a very small shower with just a curtain,(but a good hot shower) anybody over a size 18 would struggle to get in and move, holes in the wall of the bathroom were they had taken fittings down and not filled the holes. The toilet was incredibly low so anybody older, could have difficulty getting up, also even though comfortable, the beds were again low. We were very unhappy about receiving an early morning wake up call at 7am (considering we were awake until 4.30) which we hadn't asked for.
Breakfast was average sausages stone cold and scrammbled egg luke warm, but plenty of cold meats, cheese, salad, rolls, croissants and yogurt on offer, just as we had finished they brought out some bacon! The breakfast room (which is the Lebanese Restaurant) didn't feel particularly clean, not dirty, but grubby half the tables not cleared and stains on the tablecloths and floor. People should be aware that this hotel is in the red light district and very close to strip clubs, lap dancing clubs etc.
