“ This is what I would call a 'transit' hotel in that it would usually be used for overnight or just a few nights stay at best. It seemed to be mainly occupied by workers for overnight stays while on jobs. Pleasant staff that were always helpful and overall a very quiet stay considering the location and type of hotel.

The hotel has its origins in a 16th century farmhouse and an inn has reputedly stood on the site from earliest times.The Suffolk pink ivy-covered building is a welcoming beacon attracting an eclectic mix of local residents passing travellers and people working at nearby business parks.
