Clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic views over the sea.
Close to the beach but with a very steep hill to climb on the way back so probably not suitable for the infirm.
“ Top Tip: Dyonysos Taverna - excellent food and service on the balcony looking out to sea

Fabulous views of the bay and over to Corfu Town, with the mountains towering up behind the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, with English spoken, and they went out of their way to assist.
The hotel itself is split into terraces of accommodation up the hillside and it is a steep hill down to the beach and village, so it would be less suitable for less keen walkers!
It had a good well sized pool, and good snack bar beside it.
Facilities were good and our room was simply furnished but perfectly satisfactory for our one week stay. The balcony view was outstanding.
“
Top Tip:
Use the local buses to Corfu Town and north - they are cheap and regular.
The restaurants that we ate at in the village were all of a good standard.
The staff were very helpful in providing contacts for any trips/excursions, etc.

The hotel staff were very accomodating and were always available to assist with any queries. It is a steep walk from the road up to the hotel and therefore not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. It is also a steep walk down to the beach. The hotel does have a minibus available all the time which will transport you up and down the hill and up the mountainside to your room if required. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is perfectly adequate. The evening buffet meal is ok and reasonably priced however I can highly recommend the Dionysus Restaurant down on the main road. The food is great and the service is professional and friendly.
The hotel room which was a standard room was adequate, clean and well serviced. There was hanging and storage space for clothes.
“ Top Tip: Dionysus restaurant - you must try it - good food - great service- water side tables. ( Good wine too!!)

“ Hotel is more style over substance. Looks good on the internet, but rooms not that good. Bathrooms in luxury rooms very small, you need to stand in the shower when you want to go to the toilet. Food average.

Pantorcrator Hotel is very smart with lovely sitting areas both inside and out for quiet evenings. It is more suited to couples wanting a relaxing break. The one big problem (as with most of the places to stay on Corfu I fear) is the steep hills up to the hotel. It is not suitable for anyone with motability problems!! It does keep you quite fit though up and down the hills. It did stop us wandering too much in the evening but the hotel is quite lovely at night so we were not too bothered.
Barbati is a lovely area with a beatiful beach with the clearest water I have seen anywhere in the med. Good position too to visit nearby resorts as there is a good bus service. You can hire mopeds, quads and cars in Barbati great fun to see more of the Island.
“ Top Tip: Hire a speed boat from Spiros on Barbati beach and sail along the coast to a little cove and pretend you are on your own Island. Great stuff loved it!!
