A lovely hotel and really friendly staff. Was upgraded from a bungalow to a big hotel room with a view!
“ Top Tip: Just round the corner up the steps to a bar that gives you a fantastic view of Corfu and 'Mouse Island'. Go and look!

The staff in this hotel were all exceptional, from the reception, to the pool and restaurant and bar, they were all excellent.
The position of this hotel is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views.
The things that spoil this hotel are
1] 5* Hotels do not and should not charge for sunbeds on their own private beach. There is no sand incidentally, just stone and gravel, which needs an urgent upgrade to a sandy beach. Sunbeds were all falling apart and parasols all torn - who would pay for this?
2} 5* Hotels do not and should not charge for certain items in their gym, ie. Euro 5 for using the running machines is ridiculous. But what really added insult to injury is that for those of us who only wanted to use the gym equipment and the free weights and the exercise balls, the Spa (Because the own the exercise bikes apparently) lock up this portion of the gym on Sunday (because they do not work Sundays!!!) and stop you from using all of the other gym equipment that is in this section of the gym - Beyond Ridiculous.
3} Food is so repetitive and is not 5* standard - cheap cuts of meat, only brown chicken meat on the chicken souflaki - mine was 50% fat and skin - we got a 100% chicken breast one from Corfu town for Euro 2! Turkey roll, processed, rather than proper cut of meat, horrible. For only white meat and fish eaters very limited choice. Pork and red meat every single night. Never any fish or prawns on the buffet even once, we recently stayed at a 3* hotel in Majorca which provided far superior food to this hotel. The sweets were virtually the same every single night. Never any fresh fruit salad or water melon or honeydew melon.
We had to ask for olives!!!! They grow everywhere in this country.
The soups and salads were good, but the main courses and the sweets need serious attention.
4} Our bungalow was lovey and spacious with beautiful view, only downside was that the bathrooms are in urgent need of an upgrade. Cleaners keep the hotel spotless, towels and bed linen always clean.
If they brought in some sand and transformed this beach it would be stunning, stopped pinching money on sunbeds and gym equipment, which is just irritating when you have booked into a 5* facility and vastly improve the food this hotel could be absolutely top class. They have the setting and the staff, the owner/management just need to review the policies with which they run this hotel and adhere to the standards which other 5* hotels worldwide do.
We have travelled the world and have never been charged for sunbeds on a hotels private beach, nor had to pay for use of a gym, nor encountered a spa facility which is not open 7 days a week.
With an upgrade and a management review this hotel has such brilliant potential.
Again all Staff were absolutely faultless and could not do enough for you, the hotel should be aware that this is the main saving grace for this hotel, that all their staff are doing the absolute best that they can, with very limited resources.

“ We stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and had a great time. It's gone down hill somewhat! We've been to Greece many times and realise the star rating is not comparable to the UK but it's looking quite shabby. The hotel was full and the restaurant was overcrowded - not a great start to the morning. Our toilet wouldn't flush and reception had to be reminded as it wasn't fixed by the end of the day. We'll find somewhere else next time!
