Mimosa Hotel

“ hotel was clean enough but food was terrible, ate out all the time!!

“ food was ok but not brillant rooms very basic staff very good bar prices abit expensive but a good holiday would stay there again.

“ The hotel itself was very nice, the staff were extremely helpful and polite. We were halfboard so were given breakfast and evening meal, both were not really to our taste. There was sufficent choice but I think we were just really fussy. My room and 2 of the other girls' rooms were lovely but our other friend was staying in the older building and her room was rather shabby so she ended up spending the week with me in my room. The pool was very quiet and i think there was only 1 day out of the 7 when the rep did games etc with the children. We are all aged between 21-26 and Sidari, although was a lovely place, was far to quiet for us. There was no other groups of people in our hotel or around the strip we found. Every bar had tributes on every nite, including our hotel, which is not really our type of holiday. I would say the Mimosa is definately a place for families, couples or older people.

“ Top Tip: If you do visit Sidari try a bar called B.E.D we loved it. We ate in there almost everyday, the staff were lovely and remembered us well each time and on a night the sell the most amazing strawberry daquiris :D

“ We stayed at the Hotel Mimosa from 5th to 12th August 2011. We had a family room that slept 3 of us (myself, wife, daughter). The room was clean but basic with towels and bedding changed regularly. There was no TV. The food in the restaurant was basic but good and always with a choice of meals for the evening meal. The hotel is central to the main street in Sidari where there is an abundance of bars/cafes. If you like Karoake and tribute acts there is plenty. Overall we really enjoyed staying in Corfu and went on a number of day trips including the Albania trip which was very good. I would not recommend hiring a car as the roads are very hilly and mountainous and it is better to go on coach trips or use the local buses.
