Hotel Paradise was very comfortable and staff treated their guests as their best friends.
The swimming pool was wonderful and did have a shallow roped off area for young children. The gardens are enchanting. Full of olive trees and palm trees and these provided shady areas. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool area.
Breakfast was buffet style and offered a wide variety of foods that could be eaten either outside or indoors.
There is a lift to the upper floor.
Staff were extremely helpful
We will most definitely visit this hotel again.
“ Top Tip: We tried several restaurants in the area and they were all good.

“ This hotel is not near the ferry port, expect to pay 20 Euro's for a taxi to get you here to and from port. Was slightly mislead to believe this is close to the port. Beds are not overly comfy, but it's cheap. Good pool, friendly staff (UK / Belgium owned)
“ Top Tip: Careful crossing the motorway!

I had read some reviews on Trip Advisor but went with an open mind. The hotel is situated at the top of a small hill and the views are amazing of the harbour. The gardens are vast and around the pool area are loads of sunbeds and Sparky the donkey can also be heard!
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice of cereals, toast, bread, cheese, etc. Cooked breakfasts are available for an extra cost.
The rooms are adequate and perfectally functional but what struck me was how clean they were, bedding was changed twice in the week and plenty of towels to use.
The owners were extremely friendly and they did say that if I needed anything then all I had to do was ask. They are able to recommend trips or restaurants to meet your individual needs.
All in all the hotel was good value for money and I would go back there.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Paradise Hotel. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was a good standard of continental (tea, coffee, orange juice, bread, toast, ham, cheese, eggs, cereal, fruit, salad). Besides breakfast, the restaurant serves lunch between 12.00 and 2.00, but does not do evening meals (although the bar does snacks).
There is a decent sized swimming pool. Because the hotel is situated on a hill, there are excellent views of the surrounding countryside. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the village centre, which is okay going down to the village, but can be a bit of a climb on the way back, especially in the midday heat!
The hotel is conveniently-situated for getting a bus into Corfu Town (they run every 20 minutes during the week). The journey takes about 20-30 minutes.
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Top Tip:
There are some good restaurants in Gouvia (Phillipas, 9 Muses, Moukas). Our favourite was 9 Muses.
You can walk from Gouvia beach to the nearby resort of Kontikali (took about 45 minutes) via the marina. In Kontikali there is an English run pub, the Navigators, which does live music, as well as a nice bistro, Bistro Boileau.

The hotel was beautifully clean and the owners and staff were lovely. It is set up a hill so the views are spectacular but there is a 10 minute walk to the closest shops, reastaurants and beaches. In all this is the best hotel that I have stayed in in greece as the standard is not usually terribly high but it seemed more like a spanish 4* hotel as opposed to a Greek 3*.
