Just spent Easter weekend in the Corfu palace and found it to be
An excellent hotel. It probably doesn't justify it's 5 star rating as
It certainly isn't perfect but on the whole I would describe it as excellent.
A couple of negative points we found was that you had to pay extra
To use the facilities around the pool such as the sauna the breakfast
Was excellent with a superb variety of good quality items the downside being
The hot items were lukewarm at best. The positives the staff were excellent
The location fabulous just a 2 or 3 minute walk to the old town which was
A lovely place. Every room has a sea-view. On a personal level we didn't
Fly out untill 11-00 pm on the evening but were allowed to keep our room
Untill we needed to leave for the airport which is the type of customer service
Which the hotel seemed to give and is sadly lacking in a lot of hotels but the
Corfu palace did seem to want to look after their customers which is a policy
Which deserves commending and overall a very good hotel.

Top Tip: Olive tree was a good restraunt

A lovely hotel, with friendly staff. The place was deserted though it being so late in the season, so not much was going on.

visited this hotel 12years ago, however this time round we found it to be tired & quite dated.Breakfast each morning never varied during our two week stay & choice was limited. No chef on hand to cook fresh eggs. Food & drinks very expensive. Toileteries in short supply & were sporodic, not what you would expect from a 5* hotel. However the location could not have been better located & staff were very nice & helpful. Pool areas nice.

Top Tip: To Mikes restaurant in Corfu town very nice.

The hotel itself was good. Our room was clean and functional .The air condition worked but I felt it needed to be updated as the thermostate seemed to not work properly. The pool area was clean and we had no problem securing a sunbed on our stay. The pool bar was very expensive . The food at breakfast was very good. We were on halfboard and did feel that the food was good but it was a shame it wasn't more greek. We did feel that the staff were more attentive to their Greek guests.
I would go to this hotel again but only on a bed and breakfast board.

Top Tip: If you turn right out of the hotel and follow the road for 15 mins you come across a local supermarket which sells water for 30cents !!! and also local restaurants. It pays to go off the beaten track and explore to get a taste of Corfu away from the tourists !!!
