A friendly, family run complex, Gikas Apartments is the ideal family holiday choice. Located on a hillside overlooking Gouvia Corfu, the property is approx. 5 mins walk(across the main road) from the bustling village of Gouvia and the shingle beach and bay of Gouvia are about 10 mins walk away.

Safety deposit facility is available for rental at the bar. The swimming pool bar has a pool table (billiard) and all the football games are covered.

“ Was quite concerned due to last minute change of hotel as i went with other family members who would have been 5 mins away at original hotel, after change it was a 10 minute cab journey twice daily to reach them. There was a bit of confusion on arrival as the cab driver had difficulty finding the hotel as it was called by another name [alexanderpos]. For the the first 3 days we were on the ground floor and could hear a lot of noise from the above floor, we were were offered an alternative room on the top floor which was 1st class by comparrison. The lady who sorted this out was exceptional, she bent over backwards to make sure our stay was a pleasent one. Over all had a great time.

“ Excellent value basic accomodation. Our appartment was spacious enough, clean and well looked after, though absolutely basic. But for a value for money holiday, thoroughly recommended. Great pool, nice friendly management, 5 minutes walk from the centre of Gouvia, yet very quiet around the appartments. Nice view over the rooftops and the bay to the mountains in wone direction and Gouvia Bay to one side. Even space to park a car. Nice mix of nationalities in the hotel, too, with Brits, Italians, Dutch, Swedes and goodness knows who else.

First time that I had stayed anywhere in Greece. A very good experience. The apartments were very good including the pool. The only critisism of the hotel was that it is family run and were probably a person under staffed. Linen and towels were changed every 4-5 days and had to request toilet paper. For a 3 star expected this to run a bit smoother. Other than that no problems at all.
Having said that I do not no what the other apartments on Corfu would have been like as this was my first time.
“ Top Tip: Very close to Gouvia tourist section which had some very good traditional tavernas. One that certainly stands out was the Muses restaurant. Very good food at reasonable prices.

The hotel is a holiday resort, built in a traditional style. Facilities include a bar and a restaurant as well as parking for those arriving by car and a playground for younger guests.

Renovated in 2005, this beach hotel has a total of 115 rooms over 2 buildings. The facilities include a small lobby with satellite TV, an inviting bar, a restaurant, Internet access (fees apply) and a playground.
“ My first impression of the Popi Star was that it was only a 2 star hotel. This changed for the better after a couple of days to just 3 star. The rooms were clean with a free fridge and safe box. Air conditioning was €5 per day extra which is not needed the first week in October when I stayed.

Enjoying a great location, one and a half kilometres from the beach with the centre of Sidari just under a kilometre away the Yiannis Village offers high standards and well-equipped village-style apartments, ideal for an active family holiday. Apartment blocks surround the swimming pool and there's a variety of day and evening activities to keep you entertained. The shops, bars and restaurants of lively Sidari can be found nearby.
“ I cannot comment on this accommodation as I stayed in the Travizas which was fantasti, the pool was lovely and clean and so were the apartments. People very friendly only one down side your safe was in another building which was only open 9 - 11.
