A few steps at the entrance, so not great for wheelchairs.
A genial, helpful host, readily agreeing to a late check-out at a very modest cost. His bar was well stocked and open all day for snacks, coffee and ice creams as well as all the usual cocktails.
For the price I thought the room was great. Well furnished and spacious, with a recently refurbished bathroom and new A/C.
“ Top Tip: Take beach shoes, the small pebbles hurt your feet a bit. On the plus side the setting and view accross the bay to Mouse Island make the discomfort worth it and no sand blowing around. 9 Muses is very close, great quality food at reasonable prices. The Mermaid fish resturant at the other end of town is worth tracking down. They have their own boat so the fish could not be fresher and at great prices. 3 Monkeys Tex-Mex made a nice change- very good quality. Vergina has a great atmosphere, the manager may try and get you involved with some impromptu dancing, Zorba-style.

“ The location is perfect, close to all the bars and restaurants but on a very quiet side road. The room was very small, about 18 inches space round the bed. Proprietor extremely helpfull and friendly. The pool was lovely and spotlessly clean as were the sunbathing area and garden round it. The only reason we wouldn't return is the size of the rooms, you couldn't swing a mouse never mind a cat !!!!!!!
