Annaliza Apartments

“ In August the hotel was full of young Italians, making it a bit noisey for older people. Would recommend, older couple go either side of August.

“ Top Tip: Try the local's restaraunt, great food at good prices, and the view over the coast line is fantastic. As you come from the apartments to the main road, turn left and walk up the hill for approx 500 mts, when you come to the garage on the left, the restaurant is dead opposite. It dos'nt look special from outside, but worth the climb.

“ Apartment consisted of hallway with wardrobe, twin bedroom, lounge (with two sofa beds), balcony, kitchen (fridge, freezer, sink, cutlery/crockery/pans, mini oven with electric hob, table and chairs), bathroom with bath.
Staff were helpful. Parking available. Safety deposit box available (EUR 10 for 1 week, EUR 15 for 2 weeks). 5 minutes walk to beach, shops and restaurants.

“ Our room in block A was dark & dingy. Old furniture, dark & dank kitchen - no grill or toaster. Beds creaked, mattresses had no springs so had to put sofa bed mattresses on top. We were put in a 'quiet' room above receptiion & bar. Kept patio doors closed all night but were still woken up by karaoke in local bar & people returning late at night/early morning. Noise from motorbikes, mopeds & cars all night. Cockerel in garden next door woke us up at 3.30am every morning & didn't shut up for 3 hours! After 3rd request to move to a quieter room we were moved to block B (Mena's Hotel). This room was quieter, brighter with more modern furniture & double glazing.
I would not go back to the Annaliza Apartments & would not recommend it.

“ Top Tip: Bonitas restaurant very near - good food & service.

“ This is our 3rd time of staying at this hotel, it is run by a friendly Greek gentleman and his English wife who will do their best to help you with your every need, they always recognise us when we return each year, which is great. The Greek bar staff are excellent and they are always happy to have a laugh and a joke with you. They serve breakfast every morning and a variety of snacks which includes salads for afternoon lunch which we have always enjoyed. The rooms are basic which is fine by us because all we do is sleep in them at night as we spend most of the time around the pool. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel and along the front by the beach which is roughly about 200-300 yrds away, the choice of food is greek and english. If you like the night life then the beach front is where you need to be.

“ Top Tip: Try all the restaurants, don't just stick to one, we found that one place would cook a meal one way which was nice and then another would cook the same meal slightly different and it was great, so give your taste buds a good try out especially with the greek food.
