late season holiday for some late sun, the hotel is a little isolated but within 5 mins walk of other pubs etc.
The selection for meals was a little limited but there was always something you could enjoy, if you didnt order a course then the waiters would ask why and offer alternatives which was good.
the view from the restaurant over the water toward the albanian coast is great and the sea is literally a few yards away but the beach is a five minute walk.
We got the local bus into Corfu town and had a good day, for a fly and flop it was great, nil rain and nice and warm.
The local pubs/ eateries do decent food at good prices and many of the staff are english one of the pubs Carusos has a quiz every night if you enjoy quizes its worth a visit.
All in all its a great place for a very relaxed holiday, staff are friendly and helpful, you can hire a boat from the pier next door and go for a few hours fishing for £60ish
They have a book swap and the same for unwanted tan lotions and mosi killer there were many about and you do need some.
we would go back

Coral hotel is located directly onto Roda beach crossing a small road, however, the beach was all pebbles until you walk further in & then it's sand. The hotel staff are friendly & our luggage was taken to our room. I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get a sea view room as requested but had a room looking over their pool & mountains. Our Superior room was very clean & every morning your bed was made - beware the beds are very hard (made of foam). For those who struggle with stairs, there is a lift that can carry 2 people. Note: should you take the stairs, there are no bannisters! First night we chose to have dinner there & both had Chicken, rice, salad & chips. This was the first & last time we eat dinner here as the chicken was re-heated, chewy & quite expensive. Luckily with a fridge in our rrom & Supermarket close by, we made sandwiches for the day & eat mostly at the Afrodite Resaurant located just along the seafront road. Coral hotels breakfast I have to say was very nice with a choice of ham, cheese, toast, yogurt, fruit, cereal, jams & each day they would alternate each day offering fried egg, omelette or frankfurters. If you wanted a cooked Bkfast this would be at an extra price. Would I stay again....probably not.

Top Tip: We found a place just along from Coarl Hotel called Afrodite Hotel & just below them is a great Resaurant that leads directly to a sandy beach. Here is where we eat most nights - very friendly & great food choice! Coral Hotel is well located for those who wish to explore both East & West of the island. To the east you have beautiful 'Kassiopi' village/harbour where you can hire boats (thou boat hire is available in most places), further round are wonderful coves to discover and to the west 'Canal D'Amour' next to Sidari is another little gem with sandy coves. We visited Paleokatrista (west) which took a good hour & half with all the winding roads but is well worth it - make sure you travel up/down the 'back roads' to this place (providing you have the stomach for hights) as the sights are out of this world!!! We plan to stay at the Hotel Odessey in Paleokatrista & explore the south of the island.

Very clean and spacious hotel, quiet, but close to the town centre . Helpfull, friendly staff and management. Good food although we preferred some meals to others.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again if we returned to Corfu.

Top Tip: Roda town centre is quite small but there are sufficient good restaurants and bars to choose from from.
