Beach Star

“ Accomodation was good. We were a party of 2 adults and 3 kids and the room we were given was ideal. It had 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen area.TV and air con were included. Decor was a little bit tired and may be the kitchen could have been a little better equipped, utensils a bit sparse, but we managed. The pool was right outside and the beach another few yards so can't complain about that. The location itself was ideal, nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk from the centre and all its attractions. Rooms were cleaned every day except Sunday and towels supplied and changed frequently.All in all a great place to stay.

“ Top Tip: We dined in the taverna nearest the Hotel on a number of occasions "El Greco" and found the food and service here excellent. But if you fancy a cheap and tasty alternative try the Gyros shops in the high st, San Remo and Alekos are well worth a visit.

“ The rooms were basic but as your not in them much it doesnt matter. The location to resturants, bars and beach was spot on. The staff at The Beach Star were fantastice, really friendly and helpful.

“ The only plus point of this hotel is the location as its right on the beach and near many excellent restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room we were given wasn’t exactly spotless and extremelly noisy the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything other guests are saying and arriving late at night. As for the customer service there was none, the english bar workers/reception (as the reception is the bar) played music late into the night even when there were no guests in the bar and they didnt seem to care at all about guests needs and were extremelly rude. The continental breakfast was a joke as it was only 2 slices of toast (not even a choice between brown or white) and no cereal/crossiants etc . I understand the hotel is 'basic' and I've stayed in many 3 star hotels before but this hotel is a shambles. Is ok if all you want is a room to lay your head of a night but then again you wont get any sleep. Avoid this 'hotel' at all costs, there are many other lovely hotels/apartments in Sidari to stay in.

“ Top Tip: There is a restaurant called Seventh Heaven just outside Sidari, its right above the beach cliffs and looks out to sea as the sun sets, and the food and service is excellent!! Not to be missed.

The only thing that spoilt it was the the smallness of the bathroom, only a minor point but it was still a bit frustrating.
the location was excellent.
