A modern hotel built in 2004 situated in the northern part of the island 1.5 km from the village of Sidari.
Located 900 meters from the famous beach Canal d’Amour and just over 1 km from the Sunset Beach in Peroulades Village, the Damia Apartments offers comfortable accommodation, suitable for families and couples.

We found Damia Apartments to be clean & tidy, we thought that the weekly cost for air con of 60 euros was rathers steep for a supposed 4 star apartments.
We were also astonished that they only provide 1 toilet roll per week, after that you have to go to the local shop & buy your own !
The location of Damia was supposed to be 20 mins walk from Sidari Town Centre which I suppose is right if you walk quickly but in the mid-day sun in takes rather longer than that. Also on an evening I would not recommend walking home alone as the track is very poorly lit & the cars race along the road.
We only ate at Damia once & we served 1 undercooked runny omelette & 1 overcooked salty omelette, but the drinks were fine.
Good point - the pool is lovely, always plenty beds, very clean & not too cold.
“ Top Tip: On the beach the sunbeds cost approx 3 euro each on the beds you get to first, however if you walk a bit further along you only have to buy a bottle of water from the bar & your beds are free !

“ Showers not that great but everything else perfect.
“ Top Tip: Sunset Beach! Turn left out the hotel and follow signs. About a 15-20min walk but well worth it! At the bottom of the cliff and only about 20 sunbeds. Beautiful sunset!

We arrived at 0230 due to air traffic control delays, the reception was all locked and in darkness, we found a small bell to ring by the door,a window opened and a head popped out and asked could they help,we explained who we were and were told to go round the back where we were met by a women, who was not happy about been woken up,we found out later that this was the owner Damia, we were given a room key and pointed in the direction of a block of apartments.
Over the course of our stay we never got along with this person, not our fault we was delayed.
Would we go back to this apt, never ever thank you.

Damias had a lovely atmosphere - very relaxed and friendly. We went before main season and it was quite quiet with not many children and mostly couples and small groups. As it's a bit of a walk to Sidari (about 10-15 minutes stroll) the party animals don't disturb but if you want to get involved you're close enough.
Barman is really friendly and the restaurant portions are massive! The other restaurants in Sidari and Canal D'Amour were all much of a muchness but all pretty good.

Top Tip:
Make sure you try the beaches out at Canal D'Amour - small but really pretty and the water's gorgeous.
