Frida Apartments

“ The hotel was better than we imagined. The room was big (although I think we had one of the bigger ones as I had a little peak in some other rooms and they were smaller than ours) We had a big balcony. The rooms around the pool only had a little terrace and they were not as private as ours. The only down was that it wasn't very near any restaurants or food shops. The breakfast was very fresh but a little limited. There were fresh oranges to squeeze which were delicious. The swimming pools were well kept and it was all laid out very well. We had a very enjoyable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed playing the giant outdoor chess.

“ Top Tip: There was a good restaurant if you walked down the road to the right side of the hotel looking out to sea on the beach, it had a jetty running to the sea and was about 15 to 20 minute walk from the hotel in the main fish restaurant area.

“ These are great little apartments. Really friendly and helpful staff, they all speak excellent English. It does look just like the photos (which is always good!) The nearby beach is about 10 mins walk and is nice enough and there is another one about 30 mins walk away. You can walk into Chania too. However, if you're here for a beach holiday I probably wouldn't recommend staying in Chania at all, or make sure you get a car as the really excellent beaches are a drive away.

Back to the apartments, they are roomy and excellent value, with nice views and 2 great pools. Food is also great, some of the best we ate during the week. All in all I would highly recomment staying here if you come to Chania.

“ Top Tip: Ask the staff for recommendations of good restaurants & beaches, we followed their recommendations and weren't disappointed.

“ We found the hotel to be very clean, everything worked as it should. It is a family run hotel with the family and staff almost tripping over each other to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I would highly recommend this to all my friends.

“ Top Tip: In a quite location but 10 mins either way takes you into many good resturants

“ Great view from the bar and the swimming pool. The hotel staff is super friendly and very helpfull. The food at the bar is of very good quality and cheap.
Few comments regarding the rooms : the single beds cannot form one kingsize bed, and the bathroom is really small.
But overall it was a nice stay, special thanks to the staff (and this makes a real difference).
