“ This is not a 4 star, in the annex's it is not even 2 star, food was fairly good and bar service was v good. V little entertainment and evenings could only sit round and get drunk!! One V good point----Gordon's gin was Gordon's!!

The Hotel Maravel is located just 70 m from the golden sandy beach in Adelianos Kampos, 7 km from the bustling town of Rethymnon on the island paradise of Crete. Set in charming gardens, this is a terrific all-inclusive hotel for couples and families with 120 comfortable double guestrooms boasting a host of amenities. Fully renovated in 2008 and 2009 changing its category from 3 to 4 stars, guests to the Hotel Maravel can discover marvellous beaches and sleepy villages nearby along with a wide array of shops, restaurants, and traditional tavernas. The distance to Heraklion airport is approximately 80 km and to Chania airport approximately 70 km. Local Tips: Rethymnon still maintains its old aristocratic appearance, with its buildings dating from the 16th century, arched doorways, stone staircases, Byzantine and Hellenic-Roman remains, small Venetian harbour and narrow streets.

“ Hotel very clean and well presented. Bedlinen and towells changed regularly. Food was quite good, although 'samey.' By this I mean the breakfasts, and bulk of the lunch and dinner menus were the same.

Thisl is a nice complex with pool at the area of Adelianos Campos in Rethymno. The complex has a bar and a pool bar available to all guests where drinks and refreshments are available. There is also a minimarket a playground, an indoor pool and a swimming pool available to all residence. For the sports lovers, volleyball and water sports are accessible as well. The complex featuring wheelchair access and disable facilities.
