This air-conditioned establishment has a total of 50 rooms, a bar and bicycle rental (for an additional fee). Younger guests may like to let off steam in the playground and there is also a kindergarten. The main building houses a comfortable foyer with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a satellite TV corner, a fireplace and a restaurant for breakfast and evening meals. Parking is also available.
“ This is an excellent hotel, very clean, the food is first class - homemade desserts, with lots of choice because it's buffet style. There is also an excellent pool bar with fantastic friendly staff - hence we have just had our fourth visit to this hotel.

Enjoying a great location close to the pretty resort centre of Gouves, this small complex is loved by British visitors and is bright and cheerful by nature - just like its name.
“ This hotel was very good for the price I paid. I didn't expect it like this. The studio was big enough, bright and clean. We didn't have any problems with water or electricity (as I used to in Crete ;-) The kitchen worked and it had even a microwave oven! This was for me with a small child very important.

Studios and apartments are spacious, light, airy and functional. Studios have twin beds, some have an extra folding bed in the lounge area. Apartments have a twin bedroom with a sofa bed in the lounge area. Some have an additiona; rollaway bed. All units have a bathroom with shower and wc, kitchenette with two cooking rings and fridge, air conditioning*, safety deposit box*, TV and balcony. * Local charge payableThe reception area offers money exchange facilities and TV. Outdoors there is a pool with a shallow section for children, sun terrace with sun loungers, a pool bar and snack bar.Set on the outskirts of Gouves in a quiet location 250m to the secluded beach, 200m to a supermarket and shops, 50m to restaurants and cafes and 1km to the centre of Gouves resort.

This beach hotel has a 24-hour reception desk, an indoor bar, a lounge with satellite TV, fireplace, mini-market, as well as a conference room capable of accommodating up to 50 persons. There is a large lawn area, as well as both a kids' club and a children's playground offering safe haven at playtime for younger guests. The hotel has 170 rooms in total. All rooms in the main building were renovated over winter 2006/2007. It is air-conditioned and has a lobby, a safe, cloakroom, currency exchange facility and lift access. Dining facilities also feature. Internet access is offered (subject to fees).
“ A clean and efficient hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The twin rooms are a little basic for 4* but quite comfortable. It was nice to have a working fridge, balcony and air conditioning! The pool area is generally in quite good condition although a few of the sun loungers had broken struts - and they have to be claimed well before 9am.

With views over the Aegean Sea, in a beachfront position, the Kaissa Beach apartments are close to local amenities, and are a fantastic base to visit nearby resorts and to explore the beautiful island of Crete.
“ regularly cleaned, friendly english speaking staff, very nice food at the restaurant, 10 % off if you are staying at kaissa plus childrens play area next to restaurant (very useful) this was our seventh time to crete fourth time to gouves and will be staying at kiassa beach next time. my kids (17) - (6) loved it.

Complex of studios and apartments located at the outskirts of Gouves, surrounded by taverns, shops and tourist attractions and 1 km from the nearest beaches. Lyda Hotel is located at the outskirts of the village of Gouves, just 18 km from the center of the city of Heraklion and 15 km from the airport. Kato Gouves is about 2 km away and there are two beaches within walking distance of 10 minutes on foot. The property offers a mini bus service (especially during the summer months) to the beaches and there is a mini tourist train to the closest resort centres, which guests can use to visit the fantastic Aquarium of Crete in the nearby town of Gournes. There are several restaurants, mini markets, bars, taverns, souvenir shops close to the studios, as well as a quarter of an hourand's walk can reach the main boulevard of the village of Gouves. The complex facilities and services include reception, lounge, TV room, mini market, restaurant dining area with terrace, night bar, outdoor pool.
“ We found our stay here very good. The room was clean, with bedding changed daily. The Staff were always polite, friendly and hardworking. The food was very nice with plenty of choice. The hotel has three lovely pools, which were always clean.
