Surrounded by gardens, this modern hotel was renovated in 2005 and comprises 3 floors with a total of 150 rooms. Guests at this air-conditioned hotel may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, lifts, safes and currency exchange counter. Additionally a bar, a cafe and an e la carte restaurant (with a smoking and non-smoking area as well as highchairs for children) are also offered. A dining room TV room and a conference room with a capacity of 180 people are to be found within this beach hotel. There is a playground for younger guests. Room, laundry and medical services round off the hotel's offerings. Guests arriving by car may use the hotel car park.
“ Was very dissapointed with hotel, rooms very small, shower was a hand held contraption, was put in a room that overlooked the street which was very noisy day & night, food was nothing to write home about, we were half board, had breakfast one morning out of 7 and evening meal twice.

Located in the quaint village of Kalives, at the mouth of Souda Bay just 18km east from Chania. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood just a short walk from the beach. The rooms vary in size but are clean and although furnished in a basic way, they are very comfortable. They are equipped with air conditioning, kitchenette, and balconies overlooking the front or rear garden areas. It is a 2 storey building with a very characteristic roof and balconies and a peach, yellow and white colour scheme that you can't miss. This is a family run, clean, quiet and affordable accommodation suitable for short or longer stays, with a unique village character where the guests will live as locals for a few days, which is what Cretan hospitality is about (09/08 EP) © Donvand Limited 2009
