Situated on the north coast of Crete, close to the hotel are shops of all kinds such as Super-Markets, Pharmacy, ATM, Taverns, Restaurants and Bars. Its location is an ideal starting-spot for different excursion to the east and middle parts of Crete. The village of Sissi still preserves an individual, quiet touristic atmosphere. The next Beach (sand with small pebbles) 150 m away, sun beds and umbrellas are available with a small charge. Angela traditional apartments and studios were renovated at 2005 and are located opposite Angela Suites Boutique Hotel. ***All the guests of Studios and Apartments have free use of all facilities of the Deluxe part like pools, mini gym-mini spa-Jacuzzi, pool towels etc***
“ The Studio Room was very clean but quite basic but had everything we needed. The ensuite bathroom again was quite basic and the bath was very small. It was really only meant for you to sit in under the shower head.

“ We had a great time away and had private pool and walled garden, however we were unable to use any of the pools as they weren't heated! Staff were very friendly and standard of accommodation was great. The food was average for buffet dining but plenty of choice. No decent beaches close to the hotel so you need to hire a car to get to the better ones.

Renovated in 2005, this apartment complex includes 3 floors and 16 lodgings including 9 apartments and 7 studios. As well as a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, the hotel comprises a games room, a TV and lounge room. On payment of an additional fee, medical services are also available. Younger guests may let off steam in the playground. Car parking facilities are additionally available.

The Palm Bay Hotel is located 700 m from the sandy beach in the village of Sissi, a quiet resort on the northern coast of the island paradise of Crete. This charming 3 Star hotel offers warm hospitality and is great for couples and families with spacious rooms offering a nice base from which to discover marvellous beaches and sleepy villages along with a wide array of shops, restaurants, traditional tavernas, lively nightlife and attractions in nearby Malia (5 km). Heraklion Airport is 40 km from the hotel. Local Tips: Sissi is a quiet resort with clean beaches and traditional village taverns overlooking the harbour and the sea. The nearest bus stop is only 200 m away, giving access to a flexible and quite efficient transportation system for outings to other nearby centres.
“ being the end of season food was not very exciting. left overs from previous meals were used quite a lot. However the standard of cleaning and service was excellent. The downstairs rooms are very dark with all the plants around but this will be a plus in the summer months.

The Maritimo Hotel in Sissi is situated between Heraklion and Lasithi (Crete), right on the stunning beach at a location renowned for its mild weather. Only 100 metres away lies the pictureque and natural harbour of Sissi, a charming fishing village full of local character. This medium size hotel offers a lovely family atmosphere with a great personal service and a lovely pool area. The hotel is set in pretty gardens full of colour and lush planting creating a relaxed environment for a value for money, family holiday on this island. Getting to the hotel: 45 km east of the international airport of Heraklion (HER). Local Tips: To the west are the tourist resorts of Hersonissos and Malia with their archaelogical sites, while to the east, there are the popular resorts of Agios Nikolaos, Elounda and the island of Spinalonga.
