“ We were a little disapointed with the Bella beach. It was near the end of season and there was not any entertainment at night. The jacuzzi was closed down. We found things in general had were not as good as when we stayed there last year. We ended up having to move to Aquis Zorbas Village as there was only 6 people going to be left for the last 3days of our holiday. The second hotel we moved to was not as good as the one we booked,seemed to have a staff shortage and the hotel toilets were terrible.
“ Top Tip: The port at hersinossis, nice italian resteraunt with its own pizza oven.

“ Hotel was adequate but not a 5 star. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Any problems we had with the room were sorted quickly. Food was good but very repetative and entertainment was only annimation team in evenings. They did well but again repetative. Enjoyed our stay but wouldnt stay again.
“ Top Tip: A nice long walk into hersonissos and we had a great day out in spinalonga organized by sparrow travel very nearby.

“ We really enjoyed our stay at Bella Beach despite being the only English people staying there. We had a very nice room overlooking the gardens and beach it was spotlessly clean. The variety of food food at all times was excellent. The staff and manager were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The waitresses and bar staff were always obliging. Despite some of the comments I read in the reviews before our stay at the hotel we did not have any problems at all with the food, tables being cleared or being served because we were all inclusive - everything was excellent. My only negative comment is that we had to pay 4 euros for the sun beds on the beach which we thought were inclusive.

This hotel is listed as 5 star. I have rated it accordingly. Had it been listed 3 star I would have given it an average score.
Accommodation: Very small room poor decoration and not very clean. (photos taken)
Food: Over cooked and dried up. poor presentation. Lots of grease. The dining room tables are not re-serviced after use and if you are not one of the first diners it is diffcultl to find a table. (30% of tables reserved for conference group)
Staff: Very good. The animations teams worked very hard to keep guests happy.
Bar: Good but none all inclusive guests are given service priority.
A group from "Richardson's" (conf group) were given priority over all others. guests!

“ We spent a fantastic week at this hotel, originally we were booked in at Silva Beach but was re-allocated to Bella Beach and we were so pleased. The hotel, staff, food selection and rooms were all very good, the beach was the best arouund with free sunbeds and parasols which is a plus, the only downside was we thought while there was paying guests in the hotel then all the amenities should have been open - the beach bar was closed along with the ala carte restaurant - The Olive Tree. We was disappointed too that we was not within walking distance of any decent little bars etc. just to escape for a couple of hours, but this did not spoil our holiday

Hersonissos Palace is located in the most attractive tourist resort of the island, the city of Hersonissos. The hotel is situated on the sea front by the main beach of Hersonissos. It consists of a main building designed and built in a post-modern style with elements of the Greek neoclassic buildings. The hotel is located 25km from the airport.
“ Beware the Promo room !!! I had read other holiday reports and e mailed the hotel beforehand to make sure I wasn't going to get shoved in an annex. On arrival I was asked to wait at the bottom of the stairs to see where I was going to be.

Opened in 2001, this holiday complex has a 3-storey main building and several bungalows scattered in the extensive grounds and comprises a total of 340 lodgings. The main building houses a spacious 24-hour lobby, currency exchange desk and a lift. Further facilities include a newspaper stand, a games room, a TV lounge, as well as several shops. Various meeting and seminar facilities are available for business guests. A selection of meals and drinks are served in the cosy bar and in the 6 inviting restaurants, with a non-smoking area and highchairs as well as an outside terrace. There is also a kids' club (4-12 years) and a playground. Guests may also make use of the Internet terminal, bicycle rental and the laundry service for an additional fee. On request and at an extra charge, medical attention and babysitting services are also offered. Those arriving by car can park in the hotel's own spaces.

Opened in 2005, this aparthotel comprises a 2-storey main building as well as a seven 2-floor annexe blocks with a total of 78 apartments, 99 studios and 5 rooms with disabled access. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange facility and a lift in addition to a small supermarket, a cafe, a bar, a TV room, an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants, a bicycle storage facility, a playground and a kids' club. Those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park and laundry and medical services round off the offerings.
