Cretan style complex of apartments located in a peaceful and friendly environment at the edge of the traditional village of Koutouloufari, close to the beach resort of Hersonissos.
Sunrise Apartments consists of 8 small blocks of studios and apartments situated in a very quiet and serene area of Koutouloufari, a few meters from traditional taverns and local shops. The apartments are 800 m away from the sea and 1,8 km away from the cosmopolitan beach resort of Hersonissos. Heraklion airport is 25 km away from the property.
The facilities and services include outdoor pool, sun terrace with umbrellas and lounges, snack bar with satellite TV, pool table, video games area, small playground for children and gardens.
The studios and apartments (for up to 5 people) are centred around the pool area and all are equipped with fully equipped kitchenette, fridge, telephone, radio, bathroom with shower and A/C (with extra charge).
Maid service and twice a week towels and linens are changed.
**Air conditioning is working from 01/05 – 31/10 with extra charge.**
**Accommodation of 3rd and 4th person on sofa bed in living area.**

“ A great holiday and great apartments. Being family run makes you feel like a special guest and not just a room number. These apartments have everything you could want for a Greek getaway. Yes, the studio apartments are basic but they are clean and have all the essentials (fridge, 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster, hairdryer). The bar/restaurant area at the pool is great and has a wonderfully relaxed feeling. Koutouloufari village is pretty, relaxing and has plenty of restaurants to choose from. Within 24 hours of being at the Sunrise Apartments I decided I would like to return.

“ This was our first holiday in Crete and I would return, the apartments and pool was amazing and the Sunrise Family are so welcoming. The surrounding area, the village, was so beautiful to walk around with plenty of quaint little cafe to bars offing a choice of lovely food.
“ Top Tip: Many of the bars in the village were exceptional but do pay a visit to Shannagans on the front

These apartments are on the egde of a small village in the hills away from the coast (about 20 mins walk). so perfect for anyone looking to stay in a more traditional Cretan village without the razzamatazz that affects the coast. there are some excellent resaurants in the village but if it's wild partying you are looking for, go some place else!
That said this is a very pleasent and comfortable family run complex with friendly and very helpfull staff. I would recomend it to anyone looking for this type of Grreek experience in this part of Crete.
“ Top Tip: The open air museum down at Star Beach is well worth a visit for a sense of what life was like in Crete in the past, and still is in some of the remoter areas of the Island. You will find good food and a warm welcome in any of the restaurants in the village but if just want a snack the Sunrise snack bar is brilliant with the best greek coffee and raki in town.

“ Top Tip: Koutouloufari is old style Crete no discos or noisy pubs, just nice restaurants and quaint tavernas . The village is a ten minute walk from the beach where you can find discos, pubs and 24 hour nightlife. It will of course then take at least twenty minutes to walk back up the hill or 7 euro in a taxi.
