Cretan style complex of apartments located in a peaceful and friendly environment at the edge of the traditional village of Koutouloufari, close to the beach resort of Hersonissos. Sunrise Apartments consists of 8 small blocks of studios and apartments situated in a very quiet and serene area of Koutouloufari, a few meters from traditional taverns and local shops. The apartments are 800 m away from the sea and 1,8 km away from the cosmopolitan beach resort of Hersonissos. Heraklion airport is 25 km away from the property. The facilities and services include outdoor pool, sun terrace with umbrellas and lounges, snack bar with satellite TV, pool table, video games area, small playground for children and gardens. “ Sunrise Apartments were a revelation. Having been to Kutoulafari 3 times previously having enjoyed good accommodation on all occasions it was a pleasant surprise to have our expectations exceeded. The owners were on hand all of the time and were helpful and friendly and willing to do all they could to make our stay enjoyable.

“ We have just retuned from a three week holiday at the Adonis studios and had a fantastic and relaxing time.We arrived at 2.30am to be greeted by Ben who carried the wifes case up and gave us a much needed drink, nothing is ever to much trouble for Ben hes an absolute star.

“ Excellent value for money but there are an awful lot of steps in the hotel complex. The place is well designed with no apartment seeming to overlook an other. We had a spacious room with separate lounge and bedroom and it had its own independent water boiler so you were guaranteed hot water. Bar staff were great.

You’ll find the family-run Astra Village Apartments less than two kilometres from Hersonissos’ marina, in the little village of Koutouloufari. As settings go, this one takes some beating. The village’s cobbled streets and sugar-cube buildings are protected, so the tiny tavernas and shops have held on to their old-world charm.
“ This is a great place to relax within easy reach of busier resorts. Small comfortable apartments kept very clean with daily maid service. Really nice cafe bar with a very friendly welcome for all. Cafe food simple with huge portions.
