“ The Valley Village Hotel in Matala was an absolutely fantastic Hotel, family run, immaculate, the food was excellent and plenty of it, the maids were great. My partner and myself are Scottish and there were not any English speaking people staying at the hotel whilst we were there and to be honest this did not matter, and quite suited us as we like to do our own thing.Excellent value and would say is definitely more than a 2 star.
“ Top Tip: The beach at Matala is just 15minutes walk away and is beautiful as is the wee town of Matala; everything you need within a short walk away and a good bus service, to help you explore other parts of Crete.
