Hersonissos Airport is a 20 km from the hotel.
Local Tips: Famous attractions include the archaeological sites at Knossos, Phaistos, Gortys as well as the Venetian castle in Rethymno, the Samaria Gorge and many other minor gorges (Agia Irini, Aradena, etc).
Due to the location of this property and its layout it is not suitable for guests with wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties.

The La Stella Apartments & Suites offers 27 exclusive studios, apartments & family suites, including 13 one room studios, 12 two room apartments and 2 three room family suites. All units have a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, coffee machine, water-heater, private balcony with view, bathroom with shower, Satellite TV, hairdryer, air conditioning (charged locally), safe box (charged locally), telephone and Wi-Fi access.
One room studios are around 35 square meters and accommodate from one to three persons.
Apartments have a private bedroom and a living room, total size around 45 square meters, and accommodates from two to four persons. Three room suites have two private bedrooms and a cosy living room with elegant furniture with the total size around 90 square meters and accommodates from 4 till 6 persons.

Opened in 2001, this holiday complex has a 3-storey main building and several bungalows scattered in the extensive grounds and comprises a total of 340 lodgings. The main building houses a spacious 24-hour lobby, currency exchange desk and a lift. Further facilities include a newspaper stand, a games room, a TV lounge, as well as several shops. Various meeting and seminar facilities are available for business guests. A selection of meals and drinks are served in the cosy bar and in the 6 inviting restaurants, with a non-smoking area and highchairs as well as an outside terrace. There is also a kids' club (4-12 years) and a playground. Guests may also make use of the Internet terminal, bicycle rental and the laundry service for an additional fee. On request and at an extra charge, medical attention and babysitting services are also offered. Those arriving by car can park in the hotel's own spaces.

Surrounded by beatiful gardens Palatia Village is ideal for families and couples who seek relaxation and warm greek hospitality.
“ Very friendly and welcoming. Acc omodation a bit basic but quite adequate, a bit too basic on the kitchen/cooking facilities. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. Not 4 star accomodation but then we didn't expect it for the price we paid.

“ This is not a 4 star, in the annex's it is not even 2 star, food was fairly good and bar service was v good. V little entertainment and evenings could only sit round and get drunk!! One V good point----Gordon's gin was Gordon's!!

Cretan Dream Royal Hotel is located on the beach in Khania's Agia Marina neighborhood, close to Agia Marina Beach, Agioi Apostoloi, and Platanias Beach. Other points of interest are Chania Lighthouse and Venetian Port. Cretan Dream Royal Hotel's restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel also has a snack bar/deli and a coffee shop/café. A poolside bar and a bar/lounge are open for drinks. Room service is available during limited hours. Recreational amenities include 2 outdoor swimming pools. Also located on site are a children's pool and a children's club.
“ Very disappointed with this hotel. Although it is new and looks good, we found some of the staff (notably the receptionist and barman) unhelpful and disinterested. The food was poor on haf board - a reasonable choice given buffet style but at best luke warm and very greasy.

“ A lovely, family run hotel. Although i went right at the end of the season i was made very welcome.The room (a studio for 2) was clean and well furnished and equipped. location is excellent, right in the middle of Platanias, so plenty of choice for restaurants and tavernas even so late in the year.
