Anemi Apartments

“ The hotel staff are very helpful and polite.Maria the cleaner is a lovely lady and was very thorough.Clean towels every day,tho you only got 1 toilet roll then had to provide your own!Food was o.k,and was in a very good location,almost on outskirts of stalis but only 15 mins walk into Malia(we timed it)and next to tavernas and shops.The beach was literally across the road and through another hotels grounds.

“ Top Tip: The Kostas taverna,next to the Anemi is a jewel,lovely food,service and very good price,we would have eaten there more but there is so much choice in Stalis.

“ Apartments were good but basic and the bed could do with a new mattress as there were a few springs coming through but generally OK. The shower was a bit of a nightmare as tiny, OK for me at 5 foot 1, my other half struggled a bit as he's over 6 foot. But he found a bigger shower room near the pool which was bigger so he used that a few times. The apartments are closer to Malia than I originally thought but you could walk to the centre of Stalis within 15 mins so not too bad. We didn't eat at the Rose & Crown so can't comment on the food. Air con is a bit steep at 8 euros a day and with the safe at 20 euros it was 76 for both for the week. We were there 6th-13th September and the weather was exceptionally hot for that time of year, 32-37 degrees.

“ Top Tip: Jannis restaurant is a most, the food is beautiful. Try the cheese cooked in pitta bread or stuffed tomatoes for a starter, gorgeous.

“ this hotel provides basic clean accommodation in a good location on the beach road in stalis ,the staff are friendly and the food in the adjoining rose and crown is better than ordinary.Manos the barman is the fountain of knowledge and will help you with any info you need.Good food can be found all over stalis our favorites include Sergiano, katrina,camelot,kostas taverna,anitolia and amechi.
The beach is literally less than a couple of minutes walk from the hotel but you may want to travell further afield for quieter places.We really enjoyed this place
and plan to return next year

“ Top Tip: Us.e the local buses to travel about they provide a good service and are cheap

“ my boys and i stayed here for 2 weeks in september. we had a gr8 time,accomodation was basic but had everything we needed.. i got bad mosi bites wen i arrived, soula who owns the apts drove me bak an forth to doctors,as i could hardly walk.. we ate here quite alot and i must say the food was delicious, as my boys 17, 15, are very fussy eaters. our rooms wer cleaned every 2nd day am sure with clean towels..the bar which is attached the apts Rose and Crown was very nice and relaxing pub, tha bar manager Manos was very friendly... had fab time will return next year..
