“ The studios are on 3 floors, with a flight of about 10 steps down from the street to reception. There are then staircases up to the two other floors. These stairs are the only disadvantage for those with mobility problems, but the studios offer exceptional value for money. The resort centre is about 100 yards along the road to Beech Road, with the beach another few yards on. The main shops, bars, restaurants, etc. extend in both directions along Beech Road. An ATM is conveniently located just to the right of the junction with Beech Road.
In the other direction from the hotel, the Old National Road, with regular bus services to Malia, Hersonnison, Herakleon, etc.

The rooms in the Knossos Studios are well equiped for the preparation of snacks, and the main issue is probably the lack of a shower curtain. But all things considered it is impossible to complain about the value. Maid service was excellent and the small pool looked inviting.

“ Top Tip: The Venus supermarket is adjacent to the studios, and just beyond it is the best (judging by the number of Greeks using it) restaurant in Stalis: Taverna Kotsos.
The view from the rear is across open allotments to the Yamas Bar on the next road, maybe 200 yards away by road and less than 100 yards as the crow flies.
Say hi to the friendly bar staff at Kaliana bar, a few yards along Beech Road. Janis and Vicky provided an excellent service.

“ Knossos Studios, are lovely studios not very big but big enough for a two people, very clean run by a lovely family, nice pool and bar area, also only 5 minutes to beach.

“ Top Tip: There are some lovely bars and restaurants, in next road you have Yamas bar, for breakfasts and snacks all day. Katerina for lovely evening meals, and on the beach road so many choices.
