Latania Apartments has a great setting on the island of Crete, only 30 metres from a lovely 4km sandy beach situated in a cove at the village of Stalis, also known as Stalida. Latania Apartments and Studios are spread across various low-rise buildings connected by well-lit walkways winding through palm trees and colourful shrubs and flowers. Small groups and families will appreciate the affordable self-catering facilities and can enjoy the outdoor pool, sun terrace and social bars, and small area with games and video arcade. Latania Apartments offer good value for money for a sun, sea and fun holiday, with easy access to local shops, restaurants and taverns, and livelier towns nearby.
Getting to the hotel: 30km to Heraklion (Iraklion) Airport. Thirty minutes by private taxi transfer. Local tips: The neighbouring towns of Hersonissos (3km) and Malia (2km) are renowned for their nightlife and range of shops, restaurants and taverns. A bus stop is 300m away. Around the resort, nearby are grocery shops and taverns, car and bike rental offices, cafes and jewellery shops. Opposite the hotel is a hairdresser, medical centre and ATM.

“ It was a nice quiet hotel and apartments. We asked for a double room and got a double with 3 spare single beds so the room was big. It also had a bath which was nice.
“ Top Tip: The BBQ at the apartment was very nice on saturday night. the food was great.

“ The Latania Apartments were great. We had a really big room for only the two of us. The location is fantastic and is literally a minute walk to everything. My only slightly negative comment was they do really need to change the shower curtain more frequently. Ours was really brown at the bottom and wasn't very nice at all and it did really let the bathroom down. Perhaps a lick of paint here and there would be a good idea just to spruce it up a bit. On the whole though we were really pleased.
“ Top Tip: There are many lovely restaurants. In particular Creta by the sea. A good place to drink is the Beachcomber, they have live bands etc. The Red Lion is good if you want to play bingo or perhaps a general knowledge quiz. Good fun.

“ Staff- friendly,could improve on cleaning rooms-I needed to clean my room when we arrived,children playground too dirty. I wouldn`t recommend this hotel for families.
