Dias Solimar Hotel

“ Hotel very clean and well presented. Bedlinen and towells changed regularly. Food was quite good, although 'samey.' By this I mean the breakfasts, and bulk of the lunch and dinner menus were the same. The only choices were between the hot dishes. Having said that, the food was always fresh, and there was always plenty of it. If you were there for more than one week, then I think you would probably want to eat out for a bit of variety. Our main disappointment was in their interpretation of 'All inclusive.' Having been on other AI holidays we found this hotel to be inadequate. The only drinks allowed were, LOCAL beer, wine, raki,ouzo and metaxa, along with cola/sprite. Tea and filter coffee were included but not fresh orange juice and other coffees such as latte/cappucino. The only snacks available were 2 trays put out by the Pool Bar at 11.30am and 4.00.pm. so if you weren't quick enough..you got none! And the worst thing was that you could not get any alcoholic drinks between 12.-2.00.pm (when lunch was served in the dining room),which made no sense to us at all,because the bar staff were still on duty and would give out soft drinks!!?? WE are not heavy drinkers, but if you have paid All Inclusive, you expect more than this. This is not a hotel we will go back to.
