Located high up a hill with nothing close to the hotel not even a shop..Hotel provides bus to and from the beach but does not drop you all the way down so still have to walk a fair bit. Although I managed to find something to eat every meal, there was not a good selection of food..Do not expect any english food here..One evening meal choice was giro meat and rice or small fishes and rice..If you love salad and can eat lots of it then you will be ok . 6 days was more than enough for me at this hotel and could not wait to move on to my next hotel for a good feed :-)

Great views from sitting in either your sea view room or by the pool or poolside bar.
The hotel was energetic in the evenings with a in-house entertainer running everything from boys vs girl competitions to bingo (fun for all ages). The music was good for younger people, relatively repeatitive over a few days - now worse than leading radio stations.
Food was fine, tasty enough and there seemed to be plenty of it. For those fussy eaters, know your fussy and pay more for gourmet meals; don't mope around and complain about it. Ordered a pack lunch one day; It was simple yet happy they provided something.

Top Tip: Hire a car for the day. 30 euro and very easy to arrange form the hotel reception.
The water park was a good day excursion for those who like some excitement in between sun bathing all day.

We were unhappy at the start of our holiday as when we arrived we were advised that the hotel was over booked and would it be okay for us to go to another hotel with the same 3 star rating for three days, we did this but the hotel we moved to was not the same rating we could see this after moving back to the hotel we had booked there was a massive difference in the food the rooms the bar area the pool everything, overall it was a very unsettled start to our holiday. We also witnessed the same offer made to a number of other holiday makers to this hotel it felt like this was some kind of 'scam'. Our real holiday started when we moved into the hotel we had booked the hotel room was clean the food was acceptable the views were fantastic the area was lovely and we really enjoyed our holiday. We will go back to Crete but not back to this hotel only because we would never go back to the same hotel year after year we prefer to try different places we did get the prices of some hotels and information from them as well.

Top Tip: Use the hotel bus for rides to the beach as the walk back is a bit of a slog in the heat. The hotel bus also offers daily transfer to Hereklion for a fee but the beach run is free.

We stayed here 6 years ago and were pleased then although we are older now we loved it here. The old adage you get what you pay for applies in that it is not 4* but then saying that we had no complaints staff very friendly food we always found something we liked. The complementary bus to the village was very helpful as although the walk down is ok coming up would be exhausting.
